Mini Love Island style guest house includes personal hot 24 hour swimming pool, heated dining pod, outdoor bathtub, BBQ and fire pit, all this is secretly

When arrived it was in a rough area nothing nice about it. Was never told it was in someone's back garden were everyone could see no privacy. Also the people inside the house wouls also be using the back garden and neighbours could see. Could even be seen from outside front street. When explained that it was nothing like advertised and was not comfortable or happy to stay I was then rudely ignored. Kept having phone put down and emails ignored. Was not professional and was very rude. Was then not allowed to stay and was not allowed no refund. I was never once rude. When arrived at 3pm after being told check in from 3pm onwards it was still not ready. Travelled over an hour to have to travel straight back. So now not only did we not get our night away we also lost money as the owner is now being difficult. She won't even answer calls or emails to resolve the issue. Do not book with this person as they obviously just wanted the money and to scam people. Absolutely appalling and should be done for false advertising I will now be taking further action and sharing this over every social media so she can not scam anyone else.

We were a little skeptical at first (with it being part of somebody’s garden) but that disappeared as soon as we walked through the gate & after a few minutes of being there, you forgot where you even were. Everything was as expected. We had a really peaceful and relaxing night, we travelled an hour to get here but whilst sat by the fire pit, it felt like we were a million miles away. Hosts were lovely and friendly too, were there if we needed anything but didn’t bother us if we didn’t, and even spoke to us in passing of the gate, which we thought was really nice. Well worth the money & we would definitely return! Thank you. ☺️ x

The guest house and the pool were lovely and warm

The bed was quite hard.

The concept is a great idea. On a different day in better weather, the outdoor options would have been better. Tea, coffee and sugar is provided and the fridge is really cold. Decor is pretty decent.

Nowhere to prepare food. Sink to wash up is outside, weather was terrible so wasn't usable, not that I intended to cook. The hobs are really high so a safety issue, eapecially if you're 5'3" or shorter. No running water inside. Chemical toilet was far from ideal. Not much room inside. Bed pushed up against one wall with only 10 inches on the other side to get in and out of bed. There is a panel heater on that side so you have to avoid that, especially as when I stayed, it was too cold to turn it off. No internet and TV isn't connected to an aerial. I had to tether my phone to use. Mattress is uncomfortable and uneven and probably wasn't that great to start with. Dining pod looked good but wasn't used. You're basically using someone's back garden so I wouldn't have used it anyway. Outdoor bath was full of bedding plants but again, I wouldn't have used it. The pool is under a tent and the roof is really low, making it extremely difficult to get in and out, considering the pool is 5 foot high. The insulating layer was very hard to remove and replace. I didn't feel a sense of privacy as the house owners live there and the surrounding houses can overlook. I feel the fee is way too high with all of this in mind, especially this time of year when the amenities can't all be used. With a few tweaks, this could be awesome, but as it is, I can't say I'd recommend it and other reviews say pretty much the same.

The toilet could of done with being plumbed in to flush but otherwise was not a problem
