Lovely main door 2 bed apartment

The apartment could have been hoovered a little better. Aside from that it was fresh and clean

WiFi wouldn’t work for us and signal was poor in the house which was a bit frustrating when trying to organise things online, meant I could t contact the owners tip after we left the following day, very quick to respond though. The 2 bedrooms only had Venetian blinds so let a lot of light in first thing, maybe consider some further window coverings/eye masks.

Lovely apartment, both inside and out. It's very well equipped; it has everything you need for comfort. The cleanliness is impeccable The bathroom is small; there's nowhere to put your belongings. This can be problematic for long stays. There's no parking or private space. Parking is free (if you're lucky enough to find a space) from 5:30 p.m. to 8 a.m. Outside of these hours, the rate is £4 per hour... The insulation needs to be improved in the windows, especially the bathroom one, as there's a gap between the wall and the window, allowing the cold to pass through... But the biggest drawback is the noise! The road is fairly quiet because it's not busy, but the neighbors are noisy! We could hear the children running around all evening, the adults singing/talking, pacing back and forth in heels until 4 or 4:30 a.m. Soundproofing is non-existent.

Amazing apartment to stay in, I wish we had stayed longer. The place is absolutely beautiful, great beds and bedrooms, well stocked and the hosts were wonderful. The outdoor space is immaculate.

NA. Loved everything

The apartment was spotlessly clean. The rooms with their high ceilings are beautiful Georgian. The main hall and the lounge were very spacious. The shared garden was very well kept and a delight.

The furniture in the bedrooms and kitchen let down the appearance and feel of the place since they were basic Ikea. There was no hanging space in one bedroom and when we went to use the wardrobes int eh box room, we found them cluttered with blankets and other bedding. There is one bathroom, and its sink is the size of a shoebox with only a medicine cupboard for storing washing things. I think the owner should make the boxroom into a decent sized bathroom and use the current one as a toilet and put in a decent sized sink and shelving. Consequently we were not able to unpack and feel comfortable int he bedroom. The back bedroom has a wardrobe but insufficient space around the bed to put a suitcase on the floor. It is a shame that the shutters are not operable, since not only are they beautiful, but would work much better than the only partially effective blinds.

This is a beautiful apartment in a good position, with useful shops just at the bottom of the road. There's a Sainsbury's local, fish and chip shop , eateries etc just less than 5 minutes walk away. We came by train, so it was perfect for us, but the parking looked as if it could be more of a problem if you are travelling by car. We loved the throws in the lounge, which were much appreciated in the cool evenings, and they'd even provided hot water bottles in the bedrooms!

This is a good apartment in a good position, and although I am loathe to say anything negative, I have to be honest, and just mention 2 things. Firstly, the bed I slept in wasn't too comfortable and it squeaked terribly every time I moved, which was a bit disconcerting. My friend said her bed was ok. The flat was clean, but the top of the toaster was covered in dust, and looked as if the cleaner hadn't touched it for quite a while. There was also something I didn't like to touch in the bathroom because it looked so dirty, and it looked like a dispenser of some kind. Apart from that, everything was perfect, and as I said, it is in a very good position.

Location, amenities, proximity to everything. The rooms are well designed and the garden in the back is gorgeous.

The location was fantastic, and the apartment was very clean, including everything we needed for a few days' stay.

Very comfortable for 3 adults.
