"Stylishly renovated, centrally located, very attentive hosts."

Property was very centrally located (close to the Basilica, the parking lot/bus station, restaurants/shops). Renovation was done in a very careful and thoughtful way, preserving the historical character of the building but including modern amenities. Hosts were very attentive to our needs, checking up on us frequently.

Perhaps a washing machine would have been useful for guests staying longer. And maybe also a guide for segregating trash (different countries/cities have different rules).

Best location imaginable in Assisi: a short walk to the Basilica di Francesco d’Assisi; in the other direction, a beautiful hillside hike to the town square toward the Basilica di Santa Chiara (Francesco’s contemporary and colleague) — with plenty of amazing restaurants along the way serving fresh Umbrian wines and yummy pasta!
