Recanto do Ti Zé

Gostamos muito da estadia. A casa é super arranjada, confortável e bem equipada. Fica num lugar muito tranquilo mas muito bem localizada. Muito perto daquilo que precisamos. Além disso toda a zona é óptima para visitar. Foi excelente.

Não temos nada que não tenhamos gostado. A estado superou as nossas expectativas.

The cottage looks traditional from the outside but once you step inside it's a different story. It's been superbly modernised with all mod cons, e.g. wet room, modern kitchen (with full oven), beautiful simple but tasteful decor. There are so many lovely little touches, both modern and traditional. We loved the modern doors with their stable-like openings - ideal for letting light/air inside without opening right up. There is a little terrace outside, however, in early October, no chairs/table were provided. As we were out all day, this didn't matter to us. The location is excellent for exploring the area around the Alqueva dam, notably the villages of Monsaraz and Mourao (both well worth visiting). Parking was at the roadside but there was no issue and always space. A bonus for us was watching the antics of the two beautiful cats who live in the pottery opposite (we were missing our own!). Corval itself seems to be a centre of pottery with lots of olarias dotted around (there is a board in the village telling you where they are all located). Nearby Reguengos de Monsaraz has large supermarkets. A perfect stay in a beautiful area. We are sorry to be moving on.

There is very little outside space, which summer visitors might like.
