"Great location."

The location of the property is great and the living room is large and welcoming.

The mattresses are very uncomfortable, and unfortunately we had issues with the boiler during our stay. We also didn’t have any washing up liquid to wash dishes.

"We enjoyed our stay"

Central convenient location on a busy road that provided many cafes, bars and shops. The evenings were as quiet as one can expect for a busy area, but there was no trouble at all. The property was well proportioned and played out, although there are steps up to the entrance and two small flights of stairs internally, so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. It was well-serviced with all modern conveniences i.e. fridge freezer, washing machines, TVs, bathrooms, etc. The lounge was spacious and well furnished, as were the bedrooms. There are MANY board games provided in the property too....great for younger visitors and family nights in. The owners provide many freebies that include cleaning products, washing-up liquids, towels, etc. Access is via a locked gate off the parking area, so it is secure when at the house. Neighbours adjoining the house on both sides were quiet and uneventful.

We had some issues that the owner has rectified, and I'm not going to state them here because they didn't detract from our enjoyment during our stay. The parking access and space for a car is limited, and more than one car will mean using a Civic car park across the road and out of site of the house. Also, outside lighting from car space to house could be better. The house would benefit from double glazing at the front, to help eliminate traffic noise, and the shops under the house can be rather noisy from the early part of the day. At this time of year, we could have benefited from some electric fans, as it was rather warm despite some open windows, and road traffic doesn't help with this. Also, instructions as to how to use the coffee machine would also be useful, hence why we didn't attempt it.

"Nice but could be better"

Location was good for the area, right on Bath high street, plenty of pubs, cafes etc, we went into Cheltenham city centre and it was about 25 minute walk or £6 in a cab. Light and airy, high ceilings, relatively comfortable. Facilities they appear to have thought of everything, lots of games for your entertainment ,iron and ironing board, hair dryer, mini toiletries, even the small things like a lint roller. Couldn’t fault that Parking is very tight, but it’s free parking for one small car.

Black out blinds or curtains are required in the two smaller bedrooms, a white blind was pointless and we were awake from sunrise. The patio furniture needs replacing, the table is literally falling to bits. You are unable to use both showers at the same time and the master en-suite goes cold. Could do with a general paint freshen up, to cover the water damage marks from what looks to have been a leak in the living room ceiling from the above en-suite Beds are ok but I would say it’s a cheap mattress, certainly in the room I stayed in which was on the ground floor. Each persons clean differs and I would say I’m more clean freak than not, I wouldn’t say the property was dirty but certainly not gleaming as you would hope.
