Frida Luxury B&B

Francesco è stato super disponibile fin da prima il nostro arrivo, dandoci indicazioni su parcheggi e ristoranti, e poi per tutto il soggiorno. La struttura è curata nel dettaglio con anche bellissimi elementi di produzione locale. Centralissimo, è ideale per una passeggiata per Vietri, ma anche per andare al mare, con auto o mezzi pubblici ( a due passi la fermata).

Très bon accueil de notre hôte Francesco. Studio aménagé avec beaucoup de goût et superbe terrasse privative avec une vraie vue sur la mer. Studio très bien situé en plein centre ville.

Préciser que l’appartement est situé au 3eme étage sans ascenseur avec des marches très hautes donc inaccessible pour des personnes à mobilité réduite, en insuffisance respiratoire et pour un enfant en bas âge. Le petit déjeuner dans un bar proche de l’appartement pourrait inclure plus de choix de boissons : nous pouvions choisir uniquement un cappuccino ou un jus d’orange, pas de chocolat, ni de thé.

Perfect location to train, old town, lots of nice restaurants and shops to browse (ceramic purchases if you desire) Apartment nicely presented and clean with a roof top terrace for outdoor space. Francesco was very pleasant and good communication.

More of a note that boiler can be noisy when neighbouring apartment use their water to fill the tub - this wouldn’t put us of returning and would highly recommend.

This place was spotless! So clean and fresh. Great shower and lovely added bonus of a terrace. Stunning views. Easy to find and access. We really loved this area it was really quiet compared to the other Amalfi towns. The ceramic shop fronts are so beautiful! A little lift down from the station to make the journey down a bit better.

It was a fair walk down to the ferry port with luggage so train travel is easier and I imagine the walk up from the port would be a lot worse!!

The apartment was beautifully renovated, and had absolutely everything we needed as we stayed only one night. We weren't expecting or planning on a kitchen, so it was a pleasant surprise - though for those who are, keep in mind it's small and the fridge will hold very little. The highlight was the rooftop balcony, complete with lounge chairs, a coffee table and chairs, and even an outdoor shower (!). The bed was extremely comfortable, and the location was both a few minutes walk from the train station and from the shops and restaurants of Vietri.

- the stairs to the apartment are not standard (very steep and large) and there is no lighting on the stairs at night, so coming up at night can be a bit of a difficult experience. Despite reading the description and reviews, we were still slightly surprised by the extremity. - the breakfast is kind of just there to check off the "b&b". I would have preferred to have a few euros knocked off my price and gone to have a real breakfast somewhere. The coffee and pastry from a local Cafe were nothing special. - the kitchen window, which is the only window in the main space of the apartment, is into a courtyard below the apartment. Unfortunately there's a restaurant that uses this courtyard as it's back entrance to the kitchen, meaning there were waves of smell of garbage and fried fish. We kept the window closed and the door to the balcony open which solved the problem for the most part, but this was a bit of a disappointing discovery as we preferred not to sleep with the ac on and there wasn't as much airflow as we liked without that window open.

The apartment is exceptional. Very comfortable with an interesting and modern interior however located in an old traditional building. It has a very comfy bed and fantastic roof terrace with a see view. It is located in a very center, close to many restaurants and coffee shop. Host Francesco is a very professional and helpful.

The place is perfectly located, in the heart of Vietri and close to all restaurants. Francesco is a great host that ansewered all our questions and requests. The apartment is new, equiped with everything needed. There is even a smart TV in case of rainy days :) The bed was really comfortable, will be perfect for everyone that prefers harder matrasses. But the cherry on top is the private terrace with an amazing view- a perfect place to eat breakfasts and drink Italian espresso. There are also chairs for sunbathing and a shower to cool down in hot days. Franscesco thought about everything. Definitely good choice if you plan to stay in Vietri!

One minor thing that needs to be mentioned is that the gas heater that is in the room without bathtub also warms water for the other room. So if your neighbours take shower late at night or early in the morning it will probably wake you up. Apart from that everything perfect :)
