Downtown Retreat: Spacious 2-BR by Unirii Square

The location was perfect! Great value for money and clean. We really appreciated the video that showed us how to get in, so everything went smoothly :)

The location was perfect. The owner available to all our questions.

No nice touches - tea / coffee. Very little toilet roll, no tea towel etc

We were extremely disappointed with our stay at Downtown Retreat: spacious 2 BR by Unirii Sq. Although at first the apartment seemed ok on closer inspection we discovered that only one of the beds were fully made; the other was partially made with no duvet or duvet cover. And to make matters worse, no additional linen was provided for the sofa bed, which is simply not hygienic even after searching through all the cupboards. To add insult to injury, the hosts asked us to pay extra for linen when we brought this to their attention which is outrageous as this is a minimum basic requirement which is expected at any stay! The amenities were also lacking, with no tea bags or coffee available, and only one small bin located in the bathroom. The bathroom itself was too small with poor ventilation and lacked any shelves for storage. To make matters worse, the noise level at night was unbearable. As the issue with the linen was not resolved we would not recommend this apartment stay to anyone. This completely ruined our experience taking time away from what was meant to be a relaxing girls weekend to dealing with this issue.

Email communication with the host for access to the apartment was great and instructions were straight forward. TV's in every room.

The water from the shower escapes outside of the area, leaving the toilet area wet. Nothing Major really.

Lovely apartment in a prime location. It was spacious, bright, and very well-maintained. We enjoyed our stay and would book again.
