Rooms were clean, friendly staff.

Staff very friendly and helpful, property older but clean and maintained, room was also clean and well maintained. Only negative i can find is no tv in the room.

Great stay! The woman was waiting for us when we arrived and was incredibly friendly. The facilities are a bit old but the place was clean and comfortable and definitely worth the price

Visiting the area for the NH Highland Games in Lincoln. This motel is about 15 minutes from Exit 32 and only 2 blocks / 500 yards from Rte 93. There are a number of dining choices and a decent brewpub within 1½-2 miles. Rooms are very clean and well-maintained, but dated, with a 1970's look. Bed was comfortable. No television in our room, but we didnt care as we were there to sleep. Wifi works fine if you really need in-room entertainment.

My husband and I were impressed by the interior of our room. It was spacious and very clean- nice flooring, comfy bed, hot shower with good water pressure, great sheets and towels. We had a very quiet and comfortable night there. We enjoyed meeting Janice. She is friendly and a great asset to the motel. There is no microwave, coffee pot, refrigerator, etc but that didn’t matter to us as we travel with what we need. It was a fair price and we would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful, relaxing and enjoyable stay at Plain Kate’s Motel. Honestly, when we pulled in, by the look of the property, we almost didn’t stay here. But we were greeted by Janice in the parking lot. She was very nice. She was running the place by herself and she was very busy cleaning the rooms when we arrived (an hour before check in). She offered to show us a room that she had just gotten ready with a king sized bed like we had reserved. Upon entering the room, we were immediately impressed by how large and spotless the room and bathroom were so we decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly pleased with how comfortable the bed was (even better than our bed at home). There was no AC, TV, microwave, refrigerator or WiFi (the usual expected amenities in a hotel) but we were ok with that. Instead of TV, we enjoyed quiet time relaxing & reading our books after a busy day of touring the beautiful attractions close by. AC might be a must in the summer but it was September and comfortable without. Janice was great and offered us a fan which was really nice since we use a fan nightly at home. The sheets were flannel and very soft and comfy!! We loved that! We felt so rejuvenated and refreshed each morning. The towels were white, clean, thick and luxurious!! Great quality. Plain Kate’s has so much potential. Hopefully the amenities mentioned will be added eventually. We absolutely would stay here again. Thank you Janice!! If all you need a clean place, comfortable bed and hot shower you will get that here. The door did not lock with the key when we left but you could lock it when inside. The internet really didn’t work. No air conditioning but ok for September. It was good for us just to explore the area for a weekend. The owner was super nice. I would stay again!

It didn't have amenities which we didn't know but we had no problem with it..we were out most of the time so it was all we needed...comfy beds and safe and quiet place to sleep..thank you ..we will definitely go back

Short time.. arrive to 20h30 to 06h30 for hiking in the white mountain. Reservation not complicated.. Sweet place ..clean and confortable for what we pay. No refrigerator and no tv .. don't need this Big parking ! Thanks you Janice !
