I trulli di Kate

The kitchen was a fair size and we did a lot of cooking. We had to purchase a couple of pans, more drinking glasses and more plates, can opener and a couple of knives. (1 member was a chef and he needed extra equipment. Great meals)

There was a communication issue. When we arrived, I knew I was going to have additional costs due to the fact I had added one more person. We were charged 18 euros per person, for use of sheets and towels, O.K. I agreed but when we needed clean sheets and towels we were charged additional 50 euros. This caught me off guard and left all of us a little upset with the Hostess'. You are not allowed to wash the sheets & towels as they have a service that does this. It is a beautiful home and perfect for our family.

Beautiful, large, extended and modernized trulli, with large covered terraces, in the middle of an orchard, with old olive trees and pines, much nicer than in the pictures. The house is in the mountains, so it's not that hot at night outside, and inside the trulli it is always cool (no air-con needed). The area is always quite, the house is fully equipped, and you can find a small store for basic supplies and a very nice restaurant near by (about 1 km away). We would surely stay here again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at "I Trulli di Kate," and it was a fantastic experience. The home perfectly captures the unique charm and vibes of traditional Trulli houses. It truly disconnects you from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, creating a peaceful and restful environment where you can fully unwind. The location is also a major plus. Just a 15-minute drive to Monopoli, you can easily explore the town and reach stunning beaches within 20 minutes. Additionally, the house is conveniently situated between Lecce and Bari, making it an ideal base for exploring the wider region. Overall, "I Trulli di Kate" is a perfect retreat for anyone looking to relax in a beautiful setting while having easy access to nearby attractions. Highly recommended!

While our stay at "I Trulli di Kate" was mostly delightful, there was one significant drawback: the internet connection. The Wi-Fi is sufficient for basic tasks like browsing social media if only one or two people are using it simultaneously. However, the connection and internet speed were not adequate for more demanding activities. Our friends intended to work remotely for a day, but they were unable to connect to video calls due to the poor internet quality. Because of this limitation, I would not recommend "I Trulli di Kate" for digital nomads or anyone who requires a reliable internet connection for work. For other guests who don't rely heavily on internet access, this may not pose a problem.

We’ve had an amazing holiday at this beautiful house💯 The house was very near to Monopoli at a perfect location where u don’t feel the temperature in a big garden full of olive and fruit trees. A lovely big veranda where u can enjoy with your friends and family beautiful mornings and evenings🎯 Wide and spacious 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

We had a wonderful week staying in this Trulli house. everything was perfectly clean, there was plenty of room and although it’s an historic stone building the fitout and furnishings appeared new and well cared for. It was lovely sitting in the outdoor terrace area. There’s a large garden area around the house, it was private and very peaceful. Impalata is a good central location to explore nearby towns of Monopoli, Ostuni, Conversano & Polignano. It was about one hour drive from the airport. I think a car is essential when staying here so if not used to driving it Italy and navigating narrow roads lined with stone walls it could be challenging.

I can imagine in summer the house would stay lovely and cool. We needed the heating on when we were there in April - not a criticism, just a comment.

Great location tucked away in the hills of Puglia. 20minutes to get down to the beach and good location to get to attractions around Puglia region like Monopoli. Loved all the recommendations from our host like Eden's pizzeria nearby where we got our morning coffee and takeaway pizzas one night.

There were a couple of things that we felt were missing from the accomodation but Caterin quickly addresses these (eg. no kettle and at the time the washing machine was broken)

Our stay was perfect. We were 6 people (2 couples and 2 singles) and we felt that there was plenty of space to be alone and also to be together Calm and peaceful, and tastefully decorated We are already talking about another visit Thank you
