Lovely views and Umlodti great destination

The apartment needs a revamp especially if you charging the rates that you do. The Giberit plate in the main bathroom is missing.....the kitchen tap has tape around it...kitchen cupboards need to be redone...ants were getting into our food in the kitchen...the aircon DOES NOT work efficiently....we had to a use a broom to put the aircon on as it is mounted on the ceiling....the trap door is hanging which hampers the bedroom door from opening and closing freely....the main balcony door is a mission to open and close

I booked at 30 Degrees - but when we rriv i got an whattsup to say Welcome to Lazy Lizard 32 The lift not working at 30 degrees so they booked alternaive flat which was not up to standard I was not given a choice which i am very upset about

Airon switch located on ceiling - not easily accessible, damaged ceiling in that area Sinks getting clogged Need ceiling fans in bedrooms

View was great. Comfortable.

Gas Braai messed us around

It was a bit cold and i travelled with elderly people who required some warmth. It would be better if a heater is made available in winter. The kettle was not working, so had to boil water for tea via the stove.

am writing to formally complain about the unacceptable conditions we experienced during our recent stay, as well as the lack of response and resolution following our complaints. The air conditioning did not work at all throughout our stay, and the heat inside the property was unbearable. After three days, a mobile air conditioning unit was finally provided; however, the other guests were only given a single fan. As a result, they were forced to sleep in the lounge in order to access some form of cooling. In addition, several advertised or essential facilities were either missing or defective. There was no dishwasher despite it being advertised. The bathroom sink was blocked, and the bathtub had a hole in it, making it impossible to use. The toilet roll holder was broken, as was the kitchen island. The floor in the main bedroom was constantly wet, creating both discomfort and a potential safety hazard. I also made it very clear that my husband is disabled and they assured me to provide a ramp for him to access the balcony, this was not done and we had to go buy planks in Umhlanga in order for him to enter the apartment as well as to access the balcony. I reported these issues to the caretaker during our stay and was assured that we would receive a partial refund due to the significant inconvenience caused. Unfortunately, this refund was never processed. Due to the extreme heat and unlivable conditions, we informed the caretaker that we would be leaving two days before the end of our stay. Keeping doors or windows open was not an option due to the presence of feral monkeys in the area. When I contacted the caretaker by phone, I was told he was driving and would return my call. Despite waiting over a month, I have received no response. Given the seriousness of these issues and the failure to honor the promised refund, I request a prompt response and appropriate compensation. The property was spacious and comfortable for a big family

The place is very run down and clearly not getting taken care of. The in suite toilet didn’t have a flushing mechanism. The bathtub had a hole in it and no stopper. The kitchen bin had no lid. There was no microwave for our entire stay. The gate to enter the unit was difficult to lock as it was slightly broken. The main door requires lifting in order to fully open. Lastly, perhaps most unfortunately, communication with the managing agent Kirsty was poor. She was not very responsive especially given we had challenges we were communicating about the unit - particularly the absence of the microwave. Overall, quite a disappointing stay.
