Zuni`s Home Stay

Zuni and his family showed fantastic hospitality and great care during our stay. They were super helpful trying to make sure that our stay would be comfortable as much as possible. The mother always prepared more than enough breakfast for us and most importantly, the breakfast was always tasty. She made fresh Hoppers in front of us and that was interesting to see. :) She helped us with laundry at a really good price which you basically can't find in the town. When we arrived quite late the first night, the family helped us order some takeaway food which was not just delicious but also with a huge portion. The room facility is kinda basic to be honest but it was clean and very comfortable to sleep. I slept very well especially after my Adam's Peak trip.

The WiFi was quite slow but it was not a big problem for me. For travellers with big backpacks, walking up steep slopes to the guest house to be honest is quite challenging. But if you take a tuk tuk, it should be fine.

It was very clean and the most smiling family as usual you can see people the same in Sri Lanka. It’s a bit up you have to go and around 2 -3 kms away from bus stand and Kandy lake. But it’s a great place to stay and a wonderful family.

Location far away from anything and very high up (tuktuks charge extra for this), dark room facing the street, noisy because the window is literally 2 m from the street

Zuni’s home is a villa up the hill in Kandy, it’s really clean and nice. The house is full of light and windy, with a great view from the kitchen and the garden. We also had a kitchen class, we cooked rice and curry with Zuni and her daughter and it was so beautiful. Also the breakfast is highly recommended because it’s huge and tasty.

The hosts were amazing and so friendly. The breakfast they made us was plentiful and delicious. The room was clean and comfortable. Would happily stay again.
