Zuni`s Home Stay

The hosts were fantastic. Very helpful and friendly. The room was very spacious and totally fine. The breakfast was very good. The man took us to the train station after our other driver cancelled.

Nothing at all!

This was our favourite stay during our trip to Sri Lanka. The family are incredibly friendly and very helpful. We travelled with our 2 year old daughter and they made her very welcome and played with her and even gave her some toys. The food at Zuni’s was incredible, again some of our favourite from the trip. From the table we saw monkeys at breakfast. In the evening, we saw the bats migrating from Kandy which was amazing. The room was a great size and very clean.

There were only cold showers which was a shock for our 2 year old but given the heat, it was fine for us.

Very clean modest room. All the time I lived there, I ordered traditional breakfasts and dinners. this is convenient because it takes some time to get to the city. prices are very democratic. You feel like you are in a warm and caring family where you are welcome. Location is on a mountainside 10 minutes by bike from Kandy. The owner gave me a ride to the train station after I had to wait for a delayed train. I recommend! ​

The Internet wasn't working properly when I arrived but the owners got straight on the case and fixed it so I could do some work. The food was delicious and portions were huge. The place is away from the noisy centre of Kandy but close to train station etc.

Only a cold shower, unfortunately. The noise from cars and tuk tuks is a bit loud as the window to the room is quite close to the road. Nevertheless, I'd stay again.

The owners of the place are very nice people, location is ok on the mountain not very far from the city. Place was very clean except for some insects that I think are normal with the nature. Owners gave us tea and coffee when we asked for a little charge too

The room is a downstairs sort of a place, air not very fresh and no nice view from the room, but the worst part at all was that there's no hot shower and water was sharp cold that the kids were crying while showering

Exceptional hospitality and kindness from the owners The room was comfortable and very clean. The area is quiet and I enjoyed listening to the nature all around. The location is great and is it is still in walking distance to the city but just 20 minute walk or so to the guest house and you are in nature Very tasty food and the owners were very helpful when I needed to plan a trip. Very satisfied with my stay and will definitely come and stay again if I come back to Kandy.
