Continental (non-indian) food was okay. Indian food was superb! If continental food was similar, I would have had nothing to complain about.

I had booked full board but all three meals were set menu. While the property is in the middle of a jungle but you don't need a ropeway to reach there. It's not Siachen glacier. Supplies can easily come from Nagpur. Given the price, much more can be offered. Chef was offering turai ki sabji as local delicacy. Maldives type hospitality gestures (hand waving at every arrival and departure) cannot substitute upkeeping of the property. Taj management should go and see Hilton/Dharana Shilimb. I mean, you cannot charge 50k per night for a commode which needs 6-7 times of flushing to flush out ...... I was expecting 5 star luxury after paying 1 lakh for 2 nights. Jungle properties typically have glass sliding doors with sliding net doors to keep creatures away but Taj rooms lack all of these. Each exit would need wide glass door to fully open allowing jungle creatures creep into your room.

Rooms and bathroom can be maintained much better. Rats were eating bathing soaps at night [please note that we would shut doors as soon as we will enter washroom area to avoid encounter with any animal inside]. I think rats were visiting through some vent at night. Shower area was rickety and taps were leaking all the time. No environmental restriction can stop upkeeping of the property. I have seen many jungle resorts and this was worst maintained property. I booked the property solely for wifi (as I needed to be available for any contingent work) but please remember that entire property is not covered by same wifi. Each room, common area has separate wifi router (requiring separate password) and if you roam slightly away from router- connection lost.
