The Heron On Ivy

Location was excellent for what we wanted to do. Place was clean. Felt very safe in neighborhood. It was quiet.

We were on second floor and we needed to carry up our luggage. It was not an issue for us but could be for others

Everything was very clean. The bed was comfortable. It's a very cute place. The owner keeps in contact, which is nice. They reply to any questions you may have really quickly.

The parking can be a little difficult. There aren't enough spaces in front, or you'll end up blocking the neighbor's driveway. So we had to park a little far away on side streets. Also, it's a 2nd story apartment, so you have to be able to climb the stairs with your luggage. The walls are very thin, so you can hear everything from the next door apartment. He was just talking, and it sounded like he was in the bathroom with me.

Great, quiet location. Enough parking, even with it being a trash day; full kitchen, full size washer and dryer. Great neighborhood for walking and a mini Target was only a few blocks away. John was easy to communicate with and very helpful. He even left a welcome goodie bag, which was appreciated after my drive.

Nothing really. The bed was a little firm for my taste and the pillows a little soft, but that is a matter of preference.

Loud noises from upstairs clients.

Everything. This property was set up with great thought to detail. The amenities, utensils and position were excellent. It was very clean.

The Heron on Ivy is a gem location in South Park, minutes away from Balboa Park. The apartment is easy to find, comfortable, very clean, and has all the necessary appliances for a short or long stay. We found it easy to park the car. The neighbourhood is really nice, with bars, restaurants, and all sorts of little shops like a classic record store, vintage fashion, French pastry restaurant, a cool taco truck, to mention but a few.
