Lotus Paradise Resort - SHA PLUS

Location, and one very nice gent at reception

I am fully aware that everyone has there own experience of any hotel, and I appreciate it is peoples livelihoods but this hotel was terrible. Where do I start !!! No hot water the entire 4 day stay. Towel rail fell off the bathroom wall first time I hung a towel on it. Wi-Fi did not extend to the room, had to sit in the communal stairwell to connect. Used toilet paper still in toilet bin when we arrived, asked several times for it to be removed, ended up putting the bin outside the door, eventually removed day 3. TV didn’t work(only wanted to watch news), when spoke to reception guy literally laughed and said none of the TVs worked( f*****g hilarious ) Very out dated and needs a refurb.

After reading some of the bad reviews I was a little worried! I needn’t have been! I am not sure if some of the reviews were for the hostel side of the report, but we had both of the seafront bungalows and it was lovely. The bungalows were a great size for two people and directly on the beach. The iconic bendy tree grows out of the garden. We found out on day one that you need to bring towels to reception to exchange for new ones…not a problem for us. Ladies come everyday with coffee, water and loo roll, but did not “make up” the room. I’m sure if we had have asked at reception they would have, but we were fine for our visit. The bar next door is noisy at night but the double glazing is good. If you are noise sensitive then I would advise you try out some different ear plugs to find ones that work for you…I like the silicone ones and couldn’t hear a thing with them in. My husband doesn’t like wearing them but he didn’t find the music to be too loud and slept fine. They provide wryly with beautiful sarongs as beach towels and large umbrellas for sun shade. I bought some large pegs/clips to attach the umbrella to the gate from bungalow to the beach, but you get the shade on the beach until about midday. I would most definitely stay here on a return visit as it is the perfect spot on the beach, but can’t speak for the rest of the resort, only the beach front bungalows.

Lots of people come to take photos of the bendy tree, and lots of people sit there for the sunset so it isn’t as private as maybe some other places. We also had a few dogs visit us for the coolness of the tiles on the patio…not a problem for us as we are dog lovers and they were all super friendly, but could be a nuisance for some people.

Majoituspaikan sijainti oli todellä hyvä, sillä se sijaitsi aivan sairee rannan läheisyydessä. Majoituspaikka tarjosi myös retkiä ja esimerkiksi kyydin satamaan lähtöpäivänä.

Majoituspaikka oli hintaansa nähden todella likainen, epäsiisti ja siellä oli luteita. Lisäksi homeinen haju huoneessa ei ollut mukava.

It Was a shithole next to a party bar that plates Loud Music the Whole night. I like partying and in in my 20’s but this Was shit. Smelled like shit in the Room and the Walls Are made of paper som of someone 7 rooms away drops Their Phone on the Ground you Are gonna hear it.
