Hotel K2 Pokhara

I chose this hotel because it was only 1.7km from the tourist bus park (I walked). I had another hotel booking the next day farther away so this was like a transit hotel for me. The building itself was stately and tastefully designed. This was the rare case where everything was better in person. I liked the mineral water by the stairs so you can refill your own bottle. Everything was clean, the shower was hot and had a generous, almost excessive, flow of water. The owner/manager kindly let me borrow his umbrella when it rained.

Even though the hotel is in a side street (which I liked), you will still hear the occasional honking.

Truly a wonderful hotel - There are many many hotels etc in Pokhara -but K2 is totally exceptional - being off the main road but close to everything with lovely gardens and a balcony where I watched amazing birdlife every morning . The owner and his family are the kindest people imaginable - I will count them as my friends -will return here always

No room service No staff to serve. Owner behavior isn't good. Unplanned tour with my kid .so I could mentioned his detail while booking . When I reached hotel and he seen my kid then he start asking about extra unusual amount to pay for that and after a long discussion I paid .
