A casa di Simona

If you're looking for a small, spacious, modern and light apartment, don't look any further, this is the one. Right around the corner from Quattro Canti, eight minutes from the Ballaró market, with a fully equipped kitchen (so often a disappointment in many apartments) and great furniture. All designed and done by architect Simona. The apartment overlooks a small courtyard and is fairly quiet, except for some screaming cats :-). What a wonderful place in the heart of Palermo!

I had a wonderful stay. Simona responded to messages instantly, the location of the property was perfect and the apartment was a wonderful place to return to after a busy day. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

I slept well, but if you are accustomed to harder mattresses, this one could be to soft for you.

Great location walkable to all the attractions of the old town and spotless apartment with thoughtful touches. Excellent communication with Simona who let us drop off bags early.

It would be nice to have an iron and ironing board included.

Simona's apartment was perfect! It is in a very central location only minutes away from the Quattro Conti, the main shopping/dinning areas and about 10mins from the central train station. Even though it's in the thick of it the flat itself was up a quiet side street so you can be guaranteed a good night's sleep. The apartment itself has everything you might need in terms of kitchen supplies and we enjoyed being able to cook our own food a few nights while we were there (there's a big Lidl about 10mins walk away). Simona also left us a basket of essentials for breakfast which was a lovely touch. The apartment is a great size for two people with a little balcony overlooking a quiet yard. We enjoyed sitting out there with a cold beer in the warm summer evening watching the family of local cats! Simona was a fantastic host. We arrived a little bit early for check in but she let us store our luggage in her apartment next door and we got in an hour early, which after a very early morning flight from the UK was wonderful. We bumped into her a couple of times in the building and she was always happy to stop for a chat and ask how we were enjoying our stay. We would definitely recommend Simona and her lovely apartment to anyone looking to visit Palermo.

The sleeping area is up a steep set of stairs so if you have mobility issues this could be a problem.

A wonderful, clean, quiet sanctuary right in the middle of Palermo. Well-equipped and with a generally nice, relaxed vibe. Great place to come back to after a day walking the city streets.

This property is a gem! Right in the heart of the old town but so quiet at night as it’s set back from the main street. Plenty bars and restaurants within a 3 min walk. No noise at all. Walking distance to everything. The apartment had everything we needed. The air con was superb and so nice with July temps of 30 degrees. Large very comfortable bed. Lovely little balcony. Spotlessly clean. Kitchen has everything you need. Simona had left some breakfast cereals etc for us which was a lovely touch. Great bathroom with lovely shower. Would definitely recommend this rare find!

Incredible stay! Super clean, quiet, centrally located, and the host is very friendly. The amenities are very good, and the kitchen came with useful appliances as well (mocha, washing machine, etc.).

The basic food provided with the apartment was a lovely gesture.
