Great location, lovely apartment has everything you need. Loved the shower.

The location was fantastic as my son was running the marathon so really convenient for registration and start line.

There was nobody additional bedding for the sofa bed and the boiler tripped when using the hot water so no warm showers.

WE LIKED THE LOCATION.

THE STUDIO WAS FREEZING COLD WHEN WE GOT THERE. THE HEATING AND THE HOT WATER KEPT GOING OFF. WHEN WASHING UP THE WATER KEPT GOING ON THE WORKTOP. THERE WAS SCAFFOLDING AROUND AND TO ACCESSS THE STUDIO, AT THE BACK OF THE OWNERS' HOUSE WE HAD TO GO THROUGH A DARK NARROW PASSAGE.

It was very well decorated and modern

Heating stopped working, lights wouldn't turn on, both on seperate occasions so electrical issues or they are using an electric key that constantly needs topping up. Provided wrong WiFi info. Had to call them 4 times with different issues! Didn't provide bedding for sofa bed even though booked for 3 people. Slept in freezing cold without duvet on the first night and next day when we requested bedding they seemed put out. The Matress in the bedroom was extremely uncomfortable, showed the owner the springs coming out, and didn't get any apology or offer of resolution, only that the matress wasn't that old. Sofa bed is just a click down couch, has no padding, and is also very uncomfortable. All show and no substance would be what I'd say. It's not ready to be let out. This brings me to the serious access and health and safety issues. This property is an outhouse built at the end of the main house's garden. To get to it, you walk down a very narrow alley, underneath scaffolding, through a gate at the side of the house, which is pitch black with no lighting at all. Then in the garden there are stones and tarpauling which you don't expect because you can't see a serious trip hazard. Couldn't see the key safe to get in. It was so bad I took pictures in the daylight to show which you can imagine is not safe come night fall. Definitely not safe for elderly or anyone with mobility concerns or children, for that matter. Also during the day time you can hear the work being carried out at the main house and the work men, so a bit noisy but not at night time. Overall, we would never stay again. Cost is fair if it were up to standard, but as it is, no way.

Location was the main reason for booking this as it was close to family over Christmas. Kitchen was well appointed, with enough cutlery and crockery, and pans (when we found them!) Bathroom fine, with a nice shower. Lots and lots of power sockets so able to plug things in to charge pretty much anywhere. Heating worked well. Host left toiletries and toilet roll, which was appreciated. Also free tea and coffee provided. Host replied to queries quickly.

Incorrect wifi details provided in initial email from host (although quickly remedied). Location is behind a house which is going through some major renovations, so we had to negotiate loose tarpaulins, often in the dark. Lock box combination impossible to read in the dark so it took me quite a while to get the keys. Mattress is foam so not comfortable.

Didn’t actually get to stay there due to overrunning refurbishment, but Alex rang to advise he’d booked us into a local hotel, so worked out well for us.
