Little Haven, one bed chalet in Dartmouth, Devon

The unit was very quiet, very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, cutlery, etc. It was within walking distance to the Sainsbury and Lidl supermarkets. The shower was very good with lots of hot water.

There is no WIFI (I missed this when I was booking this unit). Norton Park is a cross between a trailer park and an army barracks and there were no photos of the outside of the unit on the listing (there should be). Also, you need a car if you rent this unit because it is approximately 2 km to Dartmouth town (which is a very steep walk both to and from Norton Park). There are no sidewalks on the road to Dartmouth and the road is extremely narrow and it is very dangerous to walk on the road. Alternatively, you can take Bus 92 into and out of Dartmouth for GBP 2.00 each way.

Little Haven is a lovely little chalet that served us well... If you read where the location is and you do your research then you can't complain at all. We would definitely stay at little Haven again... Oh yeah Dartmouth is so beautiful and picturesque.

The only thing that we didn't like was the fact that we couldn't get a taxi back on Sunday night... It was approximately 8pm when we were in town and rang for a taxi... Three taxi firms we called and they didn't want to answer our calls... One firm did answer but said that they were fully booked.... I personally read that situation as they just don't want to work on a Sunday evening... Bad service!!

Nice and cozy and really clean

Outlook could of been a little better but we could see that the site has lots of potential and if all the other owners looked after their properties as good as the Will and Amanda then it would make all the difference :)
