La casa di Uccia

The apartment is clean, bright and comfortable. It is a great location. We were there during Barcolana and it was the perfect location for checking out all the sites and then having a spot to relax and enjoy a meal in the fully equipped kitchen. Chiara is a wonderful hostess and greeted us at the apartment and gave us great suggestions. We look forward to our next visit to Trieste!

We both loved the location . It was very near to the port,and a few mins walk to a lot of very nice restaurants and lively bars. Chiara, our host, was very helpful with sightseeing tips and information àbout the beaches and ferry trips. We had a very comfortable stay in La Casa di Uccia.

Nothing to complain about. The place is lovely, clean, near everything by walking distance, and Chiara was always ready to answer all our questions. Some guests complained about the noise on the street, because of the music and conversation, but really, nothing that would really disturb someone's night.

Some people can find unpleasant to reach the room, because of the stairs, third floor, no elevator. I had no problems with that, but it might be an issue for someone who has some difficulty to walk.

The host was simply amazing: a wonderful, nice woman who was always available to meet our requests, support and help us for the property and our time spent in Trieste. Also the room was clean, prepared, without any flaw.

The location is noisy at night, at least in the period we went there (July), due to the presence of bars in the street.

Staying at La Casa di Uccia was exceptional, Chiara was very kind and helpful, giving us many wonderful tips and advices. Location in center is great, cosy appartment was very suitable for travelling with partner. Piccola vineria in the street has very tasty wine (although night outdoor seating can be quite loud on Friday and Saturday and we recommend to take earplugs for good night sleep). Everything was lovely, we are thankful for the possiblity to stay there.

Host was great - although check in was a bit difficult. Super clean, everything you need, fresh and spacious. Sorry we only had one night- would be ideal if you started longer.

The host kindly left us coffee as a gift but I couldn’t work the stove ☹️

Delightful home, very comfortable, loved being able to prepare our own food. Location is perfect for exploring Trieste and is walking distance from the train station. We were greeted with a warm, friendly welcome - the beginning of a perfect stay.

Beautiful tidy apartment near Piazza del Cavana. Very comfortable, well appointed. Lots of restaurants, cafés, and bars in the area, as well as nice shops. About a 10-15 minute walk from the cathedral and castle Our host Chiara was very friendly and communicative and helpful. In particular, she helped us navigate the parking arrangements, which is a little complicated in central Trieste.
