Alvia Joglo House & Private Pool

The staff were friendly, kind and always ready to help. Since the hotel is located in the middle of beautiful rice fields, we really appreciated their help with carrying our luggage to the villa. The location is peaceful, relaxing, and perfect for enjoying nature. The breakfast was superb and definitely one of the highlights of our stay.

A small suggestion would be to arrange an easier luggage transport option for guests with larger suitcases due to the unique rice field access.

The staff here are very friendly and helpful! They picked us up when we arrived, arranged a scooter for us to rent, and helped with arranging our dinner twice while we stayed. The location is in the middle of a beautiful rice field, which means you will hear insects at night and roosters in the morning. Perfect way to wake up in time for the sunrise!

Die Idee einer Villa mit privaten Pool ist eigentlich genial. Außer uns waren keine anderen Gäste da, so dass es eigentlich sehr ruhig hätte sein können. Die Hausdame Viae ist sehr freundlich, ihre Fürsorge ist aber fast aufdringlich.

Die Villa liegt zwischen Reisfeldern und ist nur über einen zehnminütigen Fußweg von der Hauptstraße erreichbar. Am frühen Morgen wird man von der Sonne geweckt, da die Vorhänge in keinster Weise dicht sind. Die Hühner in der Umgebung machen einen furchtbaren Lärm und nachts laufen Ameisen über das Bett. Überhaupt gibt es wahnsinnig viele Ameisen. Das Frühstück ist äußerst bescheiden, man kann aber kostenpflichtig dazu buchen, was aber dann nicht wirklich schmeckt und zudem überteuert ist. Zum Essen gibt es traditionellen niedrigen Tisch, der völlig gewöhnungsbedürftig ist und für ältere Menschen überhaupt nicht geeignet ist. Außer zwei kleinen Kaffeetassen und einem kleinen Kaffeelöffel ist kein Geschirr vorhanden. Zudem gab es nur einen Teebeutel für zwei Personen und drei Tage. Auf keinen Fall können wir diese Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

El paraje entre los arrozales espectacular. Personal muy amable. Diseño del lugar exquisito, con buen tiempo lo hubiésemos disfrutado muchísimo.

La entrada no está especialmente señalizada y es un camino entre arrozales. Cuidado novatos en moto.

Location was picturesque amongst Paddy fields.

Giant ants inside room & in the bed crawling on us. We used our own insect repellant to try to detour the ants. We suggest spraying the rooms regularly & providing insect spray.

Une très belle petite maison au charme atypique, au coeur des rizières, un endroit idéal pour un séjour de détente. Une hôte attentionnée et sympathique.

J’ai résidé 5 jours à Alvia Joglo House qui se situe au milieu des rizières. Le paysage est magnifique et on est vraiment plongé dans la campagne balinaise. La petite villa est extrêmement bien conçue et confortable, un vraiment plongé dans havre de paix. Le personnel est bienveillant et très discret, réactif aux demandes et aux petits soins. Je recommande vivement cet endroit loin de l’agitation d’Ubud.
