"Excellent park and lodge."

Excellent communication with the owner and very friendly. Perfect location, elegantly presented lodge, immaculate and very well equipped. Welcome pack was delightful. Spacious, plenty of room for a family of four and offers great outside decking space which is enclosed with a gate. Very close to the lake, my boys enjoyed spending time on their paddle board and we were blessed with perfect weather too. The lodge is only a short walk from the reception area, park, swimming pool, restaurant and the main entrance. Easy to take the bus to either Ambleside or Windermere, £2/person and saves the hassle of needing to find parking. We sometimes walked one way and took the bus back. Would love to return :) Thank you Kev and Kate
