Comfortable stay in rustic accommodation. Excellent for organising day boat trip around han la bay and taxis for more local sights. Good value food available all day, with good vegetarian options. Bars and cafes nearby.

Directly across from beach, but a lot of fishing debris on shoreline. A lot of local people swim here.

Bể bơi hơi bẩn nha, bãi tắm hơi nhiều rác, đồ ăn sáng bún phở quá nhạc,ngược lại món hào nướng mở hành của mình thì quá mặn :))))) cần khắc phục khâu nấu nướng, ngoài ra mọi thứ ok hết

Our room was cozy and just a few steps from the beach, which was a huge plus. The staff were all really friendly and helpful too. I’d definitely come back—highly recommend it for a chill beach getaway! ☺️

Fantastic breakfast for a fixed price! Really helpful staff. They have motorbikes for rent and helped with transportation to/from the island. It's far from the town but really cozy. They allowed us to leave our luggage and come back and shower which was extremely helpful and really appreciated.

The beach across from the hotel isn't really a beach to swim at. It's full of trash and debris. Still a beautiful view but I wouldn't book here if you were looking for access to a lovely beach.

We had a nice stay at Cat Ba SOL Beach - (Woodstock Beach Camp on Google)! We stayed there for a few days and we were quite happy to don’t be in the city center of Cat Ba which is not very peaceful neither charming. The landscapes around the hotel is beautiful! Room was spacious, bed were comfortable and it was quiet at night. We didn’t have the occasion to see a lot the owners but they were very kind and were very helpful to change our dates. The room cleaning service is great, towels and bins were changed everyday! The pool is great, and there is a lovely cocktail bar 3 minutes away by walk from the hotel. We had really good nights of sleep there !

I think it’s important to note that you can’t swim in the beach in front, it’s full of garbages on the beach, we booked this hotel thinking we would enjoy the beach, but obviously we didn’t. We didn’t have a smooth check-in despite the fact that I communicated our check-in time several times per text, and it was not an early checkin (6pm). The young boy that welcomed us was sweet but unprofessional, same for the staff on the morning at breakfast, no one really welcomed us, they just said it was self-service but they were no more cups, nor coffee, nor spoons… Cocktails and food are average, too bad because the bar is very lovely !

The manager of the hostel is kind and helped me with transportation. The pool is nice and clean. The outdoor area is pleasant.

In the dorm, the matresses are hard and really uncomfy. Bedbunks are poor quality. The private rooms seemed better. Since you're not in the center you need a bike. They rent some but not at the best price
