Only electronic key that did not work the second day, I had not received instructions about the key. The shower jammed and I only had piping hot water, there was no reaction to my message about this and it was not fixed. But worse of all slept terribly on both nights because of drunk people walking past the house.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights for a concert and we have loved it here. The room is beautiful and bright, and the decor is perfect. The shared outside space and kitchen is a lovely touch too. The location is perfect for the train station, concert venue and restaurants and pubs. The communication from the hosts has also been exceptional!

Perfect for couples or just 2 friends :) Super close to the station and shops! Very clean bedroom and bathroom.

The room was clean and big. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was very close to the train station about five minutes on foot which was great.

The shower was clogged. There was no fridge in the room so every time you have to go to the kitchen which was downstairs.

The room was clean and had all the necessary amenities, including a hairdryer and even a toothbrush kit. Although there was no glass for drinking water in the room, the guesthouse provided access to a kitchen, which could be used at any time. The kitchen was well-equipped with dishes, a refrigerator, and a microwave, and there was also a laundry facility available (though I didn’t use it). There’s a small garden where you can have breakfast or smoke, and there’s a designated smoking area. The location is convenient, close to the station, with a spot to park your bike nearby as well as an underground bike parking option. Overall, the hotel offers good value for the price.

The hotel sends a large number of identical daily emails requesting online registration, which feels overwhelming and unnecessary. I was waiting for my partner’s information before completing the registration. I overlooked the digital key hidden among the repetitive emails after absolutely identical questions, so when you open it, you first see repetitive questions. Upon arrival, I realized that check-in was at 3 PM, even though I arrived at 2 PM, which was my mistake. However, when I called the host for help, it took some time to get a response, and the host spoke to me dismissively and unhelpfully. Instead of listening to me, she repeatedly asked me to check my messages, which were numerous and identical. When I tried to ask for clarification, I felt her attitude was unnecessarily rude. After checking in, I noticed that the radiator in the room barely worked. Thankfully, the air conditioner provided enough heat to keep the room comfortable. However, the bathroom remained cold, a common feature of Dutch houses, so I didn’t mind. When I wanted to check out later than the standard time, I found a note near the bed saying it was possible to check out at noon instead of 10 AM, provided I notified the host in advance. I wrote to the host, only to find out this service was not free, which wasn’t clear from the note. This left me with the impression that the host was unwilling to accommodate me without an extra fee, which felt unfair given the overall tone of our previous interactions.

the process for submitting documents was a little annoying because it’s difficult to see the safety guarantees. They suggested I use an app but it only works with Dutch documents.
