Lovely views, with incredibly responsive and kind hosts. Clean apartment with a wonderful welcome box on arrival. A great space for 5 people to stay !!

20 minute walk to the closest store Parking is free across the road for 2 hours but rarely spaces any available. Stairs within the property to get to the bathroom - must be careful in the dark. Electricity trips easily if too many devices plugged in (then need to go outside and reset the fuse box) Loose dangling electrical cords that feel unsafe if children were around. I must say the hosts were LOVELY and extremely helpful and kind.

Comfortable, clean and well equiped appartment in an old Italian house just 20 minutes walk away from Varenna. Lake view. Aircon. Swimming spot in front of the house on a rocky beach. The host was very helpful, was always available for messaging and gave great instructions if we needed assistance. We travelled by car and were at first concerned with limited parking options but everything worked out fine, no big issue. Varenna is a beautiful place, we preferred it to Como and Bellagio. I recommend choosing Varenna if you’re into a less crowded area with spectacular beauty.

Stunning view, only 20min scenic walk to Varenna. The place is very clean and complete with amenities. They even have us a bottle of wine and pasta. Communication is good and fast, helped with list of taxi. Would go back

Easy contact less check in . Host was so nice and ready to help and he was in contact till he made sure we checked in without any problem. Helped us to guide us regarding parking too . He was kind enough to keep snacks and pasta in property fir guests . Location and views from apartment was amazing .

Every thing was perfect

The apartment was more than perfect, located in an idyllic and paradisiacal setting right in front of the lake. The view is just incredible, and the owner was extremely helpful whenever we needed him. The kitchen had all the amenities you could ever need during your stay. Since we were a group of five, having two toilets was more than welcome. When we arrived, we were very tired from our travels, so we really appreciated the welcome basket. Cherry on the cake: Varenna Esimo was only a 4-minute ride from the house. The house also has a "secret" viewpoint overlooking Lake Como.

Not related to the house, but we haven't had any luck booking or calling a cab from the location this means the train is the only option. The road from the station to the house is 4min but I don't recommend having heavy luggage or make sure to plan a cab to bring you to the house. In Fiumelatte there are also no grocery stores so you will have to go to Varenna to buy some groceries but the house owner made sure we have everything we could need for the first day.

The host is amazing. The property is well maintained and very clean. You get left lots of snacks. Everything is supercool. The location of the property is ideal.

The car parking is on a public car park, you should be lucky to find a spot near the property. The next nearest car park is about 2km either direction. The collection of the keys was initially very confusing but the host was very helpful and available. This could be a problem if people do not have internet or mobile phone battery is dead.
