The Print Room, 1 Bedroom Ground Floor Apartment

If you’re staying in central Carlisle and looking for a self contained apartment, this is basic but adequate accommodation.

This is a tired offering - not cleaned well, broken kitchen cupboards, poor selection of cooking utensils , the linen is poor quality, there’s no iron despite being told there was (very disappointing). All in all, adequate if you’re on a budget. Otherwise, you’re better off in the Travelodge.

Surprisingly spacious for a smaller room. Simple decor is pitched at a good level. The location is also perfect really. Owners very responsive and helpful.

Not a great deal, the TV is maybe a touch on the smaller size.

Excellent property for a recent stay in Carlisle. Clean, warm, and comfortable. Open plan lounge kitchen with a huge comfy sofa and full kitchen with various appliances including a washing machine. Had a really pleasant stay and will return in the future as it’s city centre and handy for work.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Great location, very clean and nicely furnished. Interaction with the owners was great throughout via email. Parking on the road outside (free after 6pm and on Sundays) but be aware it is restricted times outside of these hours. There would be plenty of other places to park during the week I’m sure. WiFi and hot water were great, no issues. There is a little newsagents right across the road. This place was perfect for what we needed for an overnight stop & we wouldn’t hesitate to book again if we are back in the area. Thank you!

The bed was quite hard but this may be down to preference. It got a little too hot overnight as the heating came on - we were made aware not to change the settings as the owner sets it via an app, it does say you can message to ask them to change it but we didn’t want to message in the early hours. It would maybe be handier to be able to change the heating, maybe with a fair usage policy in place?

Very close to station bus station and shops

Yellow fungus growing on the floor of the bathroom hot water in shower only lasted a few seconds only short bursts of hot water in taps no heating very cold nowhere to dry wet clothes booked into hotel one night to have a hot shower and to get warm.not told about the lack of heating until after payment.would not have booked if I had known.i have diabetes and I need a certain amount of warmth the risk of infection was very worrying due to the condition of the bathroom

Location is very good for access to city centre and all the required amenities. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom adequate. Access was easy. Clean.

Front door didn't feel secure, snib loose, direct access from street. Only one key provided although there is another lock on the door. Wifi didn't work entire stay, which although advised of no discount offered despite internet access usually a given. Clothes airer unusable. Hob needs replaced, difficult to see temp settings. Not luxury accommodation.
