I didn’t meet the host, but the maid — who also is the neighbor — was incredibly nice and helpful with everything I asked. She showed me where to eat, took me to the nearby market on her motorbike, and even helped me buy eggs for breakfast. The guesthouse is very spacious with a huge garden. The kitchen and bathroom are as big as an entire apartment! There were two large beds that could comfortably sleep five people. I really loved this house — it felt so peaceful and comforting. The place had air conditioning and was very clean. The bathroom amenities seemed to be high-end, like something the host chose for their own use

However, the location of the guesthouse was a bit hard to find and not very close to the beach — we had to drive there. When I looked at the map, I thought it would be within walking distance, but it wasn’t. There aren’t any shops or convenience stores nearby, so you’ll either need to order delivery (which the maid kindly helped us with) or head to the beach area where there are seafood restaurants. The road through the village is quite narrow — we had a 7-seater car and it was difficult to park, with no space to turn around. And the room rate wasn’t exactly cheap, in my opinion. While the house is indeed large and spacious, I felt that considering the limited surrounding amenities, the price was on the higher side.
