Shrimp Cottage - 3 bed renovated cottage with stunning sea views

Vey nice clean cottage and location good

The cottage was cold, even with the heating on. No logs for the log burner

Lovely cottage clean and cosy

Location was ok. WiFi was good.

The outside of the property very very tired and scruffy. Inside had areas whereby you could tell hadn’t been cleaned. For instance behind the coffee machine on the worktop had crumbs and dust. Bathroom floor and downstairs floor dirty. Walked on them for n the first day/night and my feet were black! Cobwebs in a number of locations.

Position and facilities

A bit tight for four but maybe that’s to be expected for that type of cottage?

Location is superb with amazing views of Staithes harbour. A well maintained property tastefully decorated.

Initially difficult to locate the property as front door not visible from street

The location is perfect. With lovely views over the harbour and village from the bedrooms and little garden. Lovely little living room and the master bedroom was fab. Beautifully presented inside.

If I had to be picky, it was a little cramped getting up and down the stairs and only one loo in the one bathroom was not perfect. These were small detractions
