good location for travel and local amenities, outside views pleasant, spacious for a couple, great hosts

parking was difficult, no enclosed garden, bathroom on different floor to bedroom, only a double bed when loads of room for a king-sized or larger, kitchen would benefit from toaster, cafetière, dishwasher, washer/dryer (for longer stays).

"Cosy Cottage."

Nice size for two, really warm, very comfy double bed.

Lacking a wardrobe in bedroom. Lighting in rooms was poor and could do with upgrading. Main issue was parking, small driveway which was also used by owners for two cars. Okay if you have a small car but almost impossible to park anything bigger than an estate car.

"Very cosy and convenient"

Location is brilliant, with pub, shops and fishnchips all close by.

Local cockerels are a bit noisy at dawn, but keeping the back windows closed muffles them.

Accommodation was perfect and very clean. Tea, coffee, milk, & cookies provided by the owners was a nice touch.

"A gem of a place tucked away in a beautiful village."

This is a lovely place to stay and relax. It had everything we needed .Fresh milk in the fridge,tea bags ,coffee, and cookies were there waiting for us. It was a pretty annexe style accommodation overlooking the green. Shop,pubs, and takeaways within walking distance. The beach was a couple of miles drive up the road. Good for exploring Winterton and Hemsby beaches, about 9 miles from great Yarmouth, so it's nice and out of the way and peaceful.Horsey windpump nearby too,which is a wonderful national trust owned place to take a picnic and a walk along the river.

Nothing, except we couldn't see any egg cups to use at breakfast time.

"A perfect location to have as a base when visiting this part of the Broads."

The property was comfortable, spacious and well equipped and provided a perfect base for us to meet up with friends with a boat in Martham and the green opposite was great for walking our dog.

A missing bread knife - mentioned to our host!
