The mattresses are both as hard as rock and it feels like you may as well be lying on the floor. If you require a soft mattress for a good nights sleep, you’re better off not staying here. The bath towels provided are really small and are slightly bigger than a hand towel. I had seen other reviews stating that damage charges were made against them for random items that were already damaged on arrival. I just received a damage claim for R39.99 (a negligible amount) for a mug that was cracked (and had obviously been cracked for a long time as the lines of the cracks were badly stained showing lots of use since the mug had been cracked - evidence that the mug was already broken long before our 2 night stay). I think it’s a very poor call to not do regular checks on the items and then just charge whoever stays there when you decide to finally do a full inspection.

Building work was taking place next door (not the owners fault). They were noisy. Roof top pool very small and not clean due to the building work going on next door. We visited out of season so may be different in the summer.
