Next door on the 1st night but they were given a warning about their excesive noise a little after midnight,

Beds was comfortable shower powerful caravan was clean & nicely decorated area of caravan was peaceful nice location

We wasn’t told before our stay that the hot tub wasn’t fully working only one of the jets worked so we didn’t get much use out of it, the living room kitchen area was so cold there’s only 1 radiator that don’t give off much heat we spent a lot of time in the bedroom this was where it was warm when going to clean the cleaning products box is full of water under the sink & I couldn’t find a Hoover to Hoover the floor before leaving ,when originally booking there was no dog charge I checked my booking couple of months before & a dog charge was added which was fine but I wasn’t aware that this would happen if all these things was sorted the place would be spot on

The lodge was decorated nicely. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. Nice large tv. A decent electric oven, too.

Issues with the hot tub which has not been rectified since a review last September. Lack of heat in the lounge kitchen area which would not reach 16 degrees although we set the thermostat at 22. We had to put the duvets over us when on the sofa as the blankets provided were insufficient. The temperature in the morning was only 14 degrees!! This is because of the radiator which is not efficient enough, although hot. There is a matching one on the other side of the lounge which is just for show and not plumbed in. There is no free Netflix as described and we had to sort the wifi ourselves The main door handle is loose and needs sorting together with a leak under the sink which filled a tupperware container storing cleaning products. The water by the way was smelly, so I emptied it away before we left. No rubbish bags were supplied and crockery was not complete (Items missing) I spoke with the owner regarding the hot tub issue who told me she was not aware of the faulty pump, although if she had looked at the Booking.Com reviews, she would have known about the problem in September. I mentioned that our stay was for our wedding anniversary and that we were disappointed with the hot tub. She told me it would be repaired in about three days, which didn't solve our problem. I was not offered any type or amount of refund, only an apology. It could be a great place to stay if all the issues I have mentioned were put right. The owner, in my opinion, should inspect their property more frequently and at least test the hot tub.

The caravan was beautifully decorated and very homely and Sarah had thought of everything . So many extras were provided and the bottle of Prosecco very welcome. The beds were very comfortable and the shower super powerful . We loved the large hot tub and would definitely stay here again .
