The Cabin at the Croft - Idyllic rural retreat perfect for couples and dogs

Property was well located and very clean - perfect base for a trip to the races. However, given the issues detailed below, I do think it was a little expensive.

We stayed in November and arrived during a storm. The property was freezing cold so spent the first couple of hours wearing a coat. Would have been nice if the heating could have been on, even set at a low temperature. Water temperature in the shower also appeared to have been restricted so wasn't very hot.

Very spacious in a great, peaceful location .

The location was perfect.Parking good.

Two dripping taps. Bath plug kept letting the water out, so had to sit on it!!. Shower difficult to start. No replacement loo rolls. My dog(not that small got out under the wire fence). Small welcome pack for folk travelling a long distance would be nice.More shelving in the bathroom, nowhere to put anything.

Just returned from a weekend at the cabin. This property is delightful with everything you would need for a comfortable stay away from it all. A real home from home.

The Cabin felt like a home away from home, it was so lovely. The décor is minimalistic but stylish. The kitchen was really nice and had everything we needed to cook for ourselves during our stay, and the bathroom..... wow! That bathroom is a feature in of itself! The bedroom was cosy and comfortable. My Girlfriend and I had a wonderful time in this beautiful little place. John and Phip, the people who own the place, were very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend to anyone.

Such a clean, homely and easy stay at The Cabin and the bath was exceptional!

That we couldn’t stay longer!
