Fall Hideaway - VailsBluff - Romantic Escape

The house was beautiful and well maintained. Our hosts provided everything we needed to have a comfy, cozy, romantic getaway, down to the spa which was heated prior to our arrival. The huge deck was a wonderful area to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning sunshine while listening to the babbling brook below.

The only downside was the unpaved road leading up to the property. There were several low spots that ended up muddy and filled with water after the recent rains. The tires on our sedan were caked with mud after going through a bad section of that road.

I didn't like the check-in time—4:00 AM—or the check-out time—10:00 AM; not even at a 5-star hotel or higher do they kick you out that early.

Everything was 10/10. Kitchen is beautiful. Views were perfect! It felt very private but still close to civilization.

The one thing that may be an inconvenience for others is the mud puddles coming in, we were hesitant that we may get stuck but were able to drive right through it, & it probably isn’t a real big issue or I’m sure it would be filled in.

Location was beautiful and cabin had everything you could need.

Road to get there was extremely bumpy idk if a car would make it. Also no curtains so be ready to wake up soon as sun rises.
