The Lodge at Pickford House NEC and B'Ham Airport, Coventry

Great host and location. So close to the NEC but rural and quiet. Felt really safe as a solo female traveller. Host Becky was great to show me in and then leave me to it.

Nothing, all great

Becky was super accommodating and helpful. She met me on arrival and had everything i could need all lined up for me. A great selection of breakfast options, bread, milk, extra towels, she'd thought of everything.

I can't think of any ways to improve the property to be honest. The bedroom got a little chilly on one night so i had to use the electric fan heater, i suppose a thicker duvet or extra blankets could have helped without the need to use more electricity. But i really am clutching at straws and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Communication was great. The instructions to find the property were brilliant. Lovely space with everything you need at hand.

What's not to like

The quality and comfort of the property. It is also very close to the NEC and National Motorcycle Museum. Good quality pubs with excellent food are located in Meriden, less than one mile away. The host was very friendly and welcoming.

The shower could be more robust.

Well laid out and decorated, with everything and more needed for a restful overnight stay. Great wifi connection and table to work at. Lovely warm underfloor eating and comfortable bed. The additional food items for breakfast made it a brilliant place to stay.
