Only thing they welcomed us warmly wen we arrived The Below comment I want to send for the information of Booking.Com and you may not publish, but take appropriate action. Actually on checking in I paid for the both rooms using my credit card. Then the person at the Reception informed me that their Bank has not received the money and the card machine did not print the receipt. However in my phone I received the message saying money was deducted from my account. But they said they did not receive money and demanded to pay again. Using my credit card I paid for the second time again. That time also I received the message in my phone sayigng the transaction done. But they said again that they have not received the money. I showed them the bank messages I received and also called my bank and they said money had already been deducted from me. After discussing further, they allowed us to go to the rooms on the condition that we have to pay when checked out if they could not confirm from their bank. next day. Next day morning we left early without taking the breakfast(though it was included in the room rate). At checking out they said they have not received the money and asked me to pay again and as they were not accepting the evidence I have I paid in cash for the third time. They said that if they received money they will return to me. After our visit we returned to Sri Lanka and I checked with my bank and the visa card center and they confirmed me that two transactions done successfully and money has been the money has been already transferred to their account. Then I informed them about it and requested to return my money(twice of room rates amounting to some 14,000 INR). They informed me that they have not received money and giving various excuses. Then after several requests that I informed that I am going to complain this to Booking. Com if they do not return my money. Then they got scared and demanded INR 3500/- as bank charges to transfer the money.

. Until then, they did not admit that they had received money. I did not agree to pay bank charges as it is their fault.Subsequently, one of my freinds in India visited them and collected money from them and sent me. In my opinion this Hotel cannot be treated as a reliable place. Secondly, it is a highly unclean place, I will attach some photos for your information. The Bed linen had scars and the toilet condition was hopeless. The bathroom floor carpets have not changed for years I think. Actually, it is selected, as it is a 4-star hotel. But in no way it can be treated as a 4-star hotel and needs to be reassessed. This is the experience I had in this place, and we were totally frustrated, and it was the first time we faced a similar situation. Thank you and this is for your information.

Wonderful staff

Room and view was beautiful, one of the best I've seen in my life. So surreal. Room was clean, bathroom and toilet in good working order. Staff were helpful and kind. Rooms look exactly as they are shown in the pictures.

Initially the air conditioning in the room wasn't working, they eventually asked me to switch rooms and everything was great thereafter. Apart for the room the rest of the place looks a bit run down and the pictures aren't that accurate.

Warm inside with working air conditioning, very necessary during winter. Lovely staff and great food

Stay, hygiene, location, food, room and anything and everything you can ask for was just the best. But the highlight was service which was just awesome. All the staff including (Nikhil and Ayush - because I only recall these names 😉) were just fabulous. Always attending and friendly. Whenever get a chance would definitely go for stay again.
