The Loft, Steep, Petersfield in Collyers Estate part of The South Downs National Park.

Hosts were absolutely amazing. They took a very very last minute booking for a late arrival and it was perfect. Warm, comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend.

If paradise had a postcode, it might just be The Loft! From the moment we arrived, it was clear this wasn’t just a rental—it was a sanctuary. Friendly, responsive, and genuinely invested in making your stay unforgettable. Their communication was flawless from start to finish, and their attitude? Warm, professional, and refreshingly human. Super easy check in. Lovely setting and views from the windows. All you could need for a short stay. Clean and comfortable, spacious, light and well appointed little appartment. Tranquil surroundings which was perfect and excellent location for Petersfield.

Would maybe be helpful to know what there is already in the flat before arriving...eg salt pepper etc in kitchen - there were actually lots of kitchen bits but no toiletries - luckily had brought some soap and shower gel etc.

The pillows were too flat.

The wonderful location the property sits in - exquisite countryside in the national park - with beautiful walks on the doorstep. The property was clean & comfortable. Onsite parking was good.

The hosts seemed impersonal. We never met them once. Sad that not even a tiny bit of milk was provided for a cup of tea.
