Helmsdale Lodge - all rooms en-suite

It's such a wonderful place to stay. I enjoyed my time at Helmsdale Lodge Hostel very much. The accommodation is spotless clean and well-maintained. It has a welcoming atmosphere, and Maria is a very kind host. Feels more like visiting an old friend rather than organised accommodation. I would book again without a moment of hesitation when in the area.

Stylish and extremely clean accommodation. Very convenient location near the bus station. People managing the property are very nice and helpful. Highly recommended

Friendly welcome; clean, fresh room with spotless ensuite; big shared lounge with decent WiFi (and a log burner for cold nights - not needed in August though!); well equipped kitchen area. Handy for the village centre - Spar; chip shop; pub restaurant) and a couple of craft / souvenir shops- and also for the little harbour, which made for a nice evening stroll.

Fronts onto the main road so, quite a bit of traffic 'til late, also beware : the road next to it has recently been made one-way and your sat nav may not have realised - look for the brown signs that take you round via the next road down.

Op loopafstand van het station ligt deze prachtige accommodatie. Je wordt heel gezellig ontvangen. Je kunt er goed koken in een ruime en schone keuken. Alles wat je nodig hebt is er! Het is ook de ruimte om te zitten na een dag wandelen in de schitterende omgeving. Het bed sliep prima en de douche was goed. Eigenlijk had ik nog wel veel langer willen blijven dan de 4 nachten dat ik er nu was.
