Birmingham City Centre Prestige Stay - Premium Apartment - City Centre - Wifi included

No key on arrival

Was told not to arrive till three o'clock due to cleaners from Occupiers before as they leave at 10 ....was promised a key and Clean apartment on arrival At 3 o clock .....we was waiting out side for 20mins lift was broken ...when entering the apartment I was shocked washing in the washing machine tabe thick with a dirty cloth....the bedroom wardrobe was broken filled with rubbish etc no toilet rolls the sink was full of hairs 😱 i was Devastated ....I just could not stay there ....how do anyone expect to leave are Belongings with no key .........

Honestly the fact that it had teabags that's it.

Definitely not prestige, dirty, marks allover walls and doors. Strong smell of urine and weed. Wardrobe broken, random cupboard with rubbish and chemicals open and accessable, hot water ran out. Complained to owner he wasn't interested, mould around bath, hairs on the bedding. I could keep going, ended up leaving in the night as couldn't sleep for the heat and noise and dirty

The space in the apartment was good and it was nice and modern. Everything was there that we needed and more. There was free wifi, dishwasher, washing machine. The shower was great, but make sure you find out how to heat the water a good hour before you use it. There was a smart TV to use netflix, disney plus etc. The bed was comfortable, as was the sofa. Tea and suger was provided (had to buy my own coffee). Plenty of plates, glasses, cutlery. There was plenty of storage space and wardrobe space, but take your own hangers.

It was extremely hot in the apartment, as it was during a heatwave. The guy even warned us before we went in that it will be very hot! There needs to be some sort of air con or at least a fan. Im glad we could leave the windows open to let some air in, but the safety latches were broken so it felt unsafe being so high up. An information sheet saying about the wifi, how to heat the water etc would have been nice, as i felt like i was always sending messages to the guy asking questions throughout our stay. But i cannot fault the guy who looked after us. A smaller thing i would add is an extra mirror in the living area or bedroom and maybe a bit more wall art to add some character. Finally the area around the hotel may look a little rough, but it was fine. I actually went for a walk to the corner shop in the evening and felt safe enough
