Unfortunately, this stay fell far short of expectations and of what was originally contracted. I booked a specific apartment with features I considered essential — namely the number of windows, the interior layout, the presence of a dining table on the terrace, and overall brightness. Upon arrival, I realised that I had been assigned a different apartment, with no prior notice, consent, or explanation. Even if they told the price was equivalent, the comfort, sunlight exposure, and spatial layout were clearly below what was expected, and did not match the images or description of the apartment I had booked.

Most concerning is the fact that, despite having clearly stated that I did not want to change apartments, the change was made without my knowledge. After several days of contact with the customer service team — who repeatedly responded vaguely, promising the issue would be resolved "soon" — I discovered that the apartment I had originally booked was occupied by other guests. I can only conclude that this specific apartment is potentially being used as a visual hook to attract bookings, with guests being relocated to lower-standard units in the same building. Moreover, the lockbox location for the key had been changed without any notification, forcing me to wait at the door, contact the number provided — which turned out to be uninformed and unhelpful — all of this after a journey that had started at 4 a.m. To make matters worse, for a 7-night stay for two people, only 2 bath towels and 1 hand towel were provided. When I asked about this, I was told that this was the “basic kit” and that, for a “small additional fee”, I could request an extra set — which, to my surprise, amounted to €70. I have used Booking.com for many years and have never encountered such disorganisation, lack of transparency, or disregard for the customer. The location is good, and the apartment — although different — was clean, which is the only reason I am giving two stars. However, the management of the reservation, the failure to deliver what was promised, the poor communication, and the complete absence of any form of compensation or apology, made this a deeply frustrating experience. The client is not a detail. And fulfilling what has been promised is the bare minimum in any trustworthy commercial relationship.

The apartment is clean, spacious and brand new. Nice views and a good bathroom and bed. Did not use any of the other facilities like the kitchen tv etc. Did not hear any sound from outside or neighbours, although still construction works - so good isolation.

1. A bit of a escape room experience.. Did not get the details before arrival, friendly support from helpdesk but had to watch video explanation on my mobile - not easy. Took me 40 minutes to get into the apartment after I arrived. This would have been avoided if all info was shared upfront and the explanation was not only in a video but also via plain text. 2. Parking on the street next to the entrance, only for 3 hours max. Free after 6PM - 8AM , but can be a challenge. Machine was not accepting (wireless) any of my cards or phone and did not have coins with me. 3. Heating was switched on and could not find how to turn off in several rooms. Could save the owner money as it was very warm and I had to leave several doors/windows open.

You could have left a few more tablets for the washing machine. Apart from that nothing to complain.
