Riverduplex - Luxury duplex at a fair price

We are traveling a lot around the world, this place is definitely one of the best we have been. Very fair price and we felt like home. The house is fully equipped including Large tv, books, board games, 3 types of coffee machines, and they even have 4 life vests and shnorkels that we used in Napaling reserve. Grace and Don are respond to any question very fast and we also rented the car they offered. Keep up the good work!

The downstairs had no air con so it was overly warm. You said there was only a 'drop' of water on the bathroom floor - that's a lie. There was a large amount of water. It's because of a leak from the shower. If you don't believe me, try taking a shower for 5 mins and then check the result. I tried to help you about that and in response you lied about it being a 'drop' only - you are dishonest. You didn't tell me crucial information (for example the rear gear - it must not be positioned precisely next to the 'R'). You said the car was returned to you with no gas - so how were you able to drive to the airport without filling up the car?? You are dishonest. The apartment is not near to anything. You told me verbally your car rental was 1200. And you told me in writing it was 1200. So I genuinely believed it was 1200. Then on the last day you told me it was 1200 per day!! You then had the audacity to shout at me about it on the last day, even though it was YOUR mistake!! You are very unprofessional, rude, and dishonest. You claim I didn't pay you (another lie from you) but I DID pay you. I gave you 2200 (on top of what I paid for the apartment). You should be thanking me for giving you 400 pesos extra than what I owed you. You also claim I only gave you £12 extra (another lie from you). I gave you 600 for the airport trip and 1600 for the car. I used the car for 3 days (not 4 days - that's yet another lie from you). So 1600 divided by 3 is 533 per day, which is £7 per day (not £4 per day as you claim) - are you not able to use a currency converter? Are you not able to do a very simple calculation? You had no counter-arguments to the things I said on Whatsapp. You were harassing me during the trip (on the second to last day, and on the last day), and you harassed me via Whatsapp after the trip finished. I'm losing a huge amount of time replying to all of your dishonest nonsense.

חוויה מושלמת הינו כל הסופשבוע עם המשפחה והיה לנו כל כך מדהים ! קודם כל בעל הוילה בא במיוחד לשער לקבל את פנינו ולהביא לנו את הפתח אחר כך עבר איתנו בבית על כל דבר עד שראה שיש לנו הכל ושהבנו איך להנות מהדירה בצורה הכי טובה. כמובן שיש טלוויזיה בכל השפות שיתאים לכל אחד, החדרים היו נקיים כל כך והיה שפע של מגבות. אפילו בארון יש ציוד שנורקל וחליפות הצלה שנוכל ללכת לצלול אם נרצה . זה אולי רחוק מהאלונה ביץ , אבל שווה את המרחק של ה30 דקות נסיעה, גם יש בריכה גם יש נוף לאגם יפיפה .. ויש שם שקט ממש כיף ומיוחד. מתאים לכמה זוגות חברים או משפחה שרוצים להרגיש פרטיות ולבשל בעצמם ולהיות ביחד במרחב פרטי ומפנק. בגלל שאנחנו דתיים במהלך הסופשבוע בלי שביקשנו דאג לנו לצלחות וסכום חדשים בגלל שאנחנו לא יכולים להשתמש בכלים . כמובן שכל היום במהלך הטיול נתן לנו טיפים איפה כדאי לטייל ומה הכי כייף לעשות. כמובן שיש גם רכב להשכיר לטיולים וגם אופנועים במחיר זול ממש. ממליץ ממש לא לפספס!!!

There were lots of useful supplies free of charge like dish soap, laundry detergent, beach towels, snorkel equipment, lots of cooking supplies and seasoning. Also the owners were super friendly and communicative and responded to any issue we had. Oh and the pool was really nice and well kept.

The washing machine didn't work properly, but was enough to at least wash the clothes. Also, there were quite a few ants getting inside the rooms, but it wasn't a huge issue for us. Also, air conditioning is only in the bedrooms. So the kitchen and living area can be pretty warm. None of these were deal breakers for us though.

Our warmest thanks go to Don for welcoming us to his magnificent villa at Riverside. The accommodation is very pleasant, and Don was available and responsive when we needed him. His great flexibility enabled us to extend our stay by an extra night when our flight was cancelled. We highly recommend his establishment!

The only small point was that the dishes were not very clean, but that's really the only small point.

Bikes available for rent doesn't meet my criteria, but you can rent bikes elsewhere

This was a true 10/10 stay. Squeaky clean, it has all the ameneties you can think of. The host is really friendly and helpful. They provide free bikes on site, scooter for rent at a more than fair price and car also perfect for a family of 5 like us. The duplex is situated in a safe and friendly compound. You can use the pool any time you wish, of course respecting the neighbours. The location is perfect if you want to be away from the husle in Alona Beach, but also strategicaly positioned to easily get to important turist destinations with the car or scooter ( loboc river, tarsier sanctuary, chocholate hills etc) Thank you for hosting us.

We loved everything

Great location had no transportation but got grab taxi easy and food delivered small town a mile up the road sells most things .Lovely big house and no ants which is very rare in the philippines .I liked this place and will hopefully come back again .

Biig and comfortable villa. Very friendly and helpful owner. Nice location and big TV with a lot of kids of entertainment.
