Could hear everyone next door can’t be helped though. Hot tub could be seen by next door but there is a screen you can put up to make it private

We arrived at the property and it was a lovely little cottage, very well decorated and nice and clean. We were on the door step of lovely pubs (recommend the lister arms) and gorgous country walks. We had a couple of issues during our stay with the heating and cooking facilities. Jonny and Natalie were great hosts in contact daily trying to resolve our issue. We were provided with some electric heaters and alternative cooking arrangements. Luckily the shower was electric so this wasn't effected, and there was lovely underfloor heating in the kitchen which also made a difference. It was a lovely extra having the hot tub outside too and we spent alot of time in here relaxing and looking out over the Yorkshire dales.

The issue with the heating and cooking facilities did impact our stay, but we can't fault the hosts for their support during this issue. The pillows also looked really plump and comfortable, unfortunately your head sank in to them a little too much that by half way through the night it didn't even feel like you had a pillow, this could have been our personal preference that we like a firmer pillow but if we stayed again I would bring my own.

Property was in a great location. Nice, chilled and really cosy, wish I had booked the extra night. The facilities were brilliant. It’s really peaceful, but I also think we were lucky we had the place too ourselves think the retreat attached might get a little Crowded or invade some personal space. However this was a perfect little get away and we loved every minute of it !!!

A couple of very minor issues, but I am just being picky!!! Only reason I would leave a bad review is so that there is availability so I could return!! Outdoor lights weren’t working at the time and it was pitch black at night, lights around the hot tub were defective at the time, both issues the owner was aware of and is getting them rectified. Some parts of the property and the hot tub could do with a deep clean just to keep the high standard of the property. As there was some dirt in the hot tub and cob webs knocking around. Would also recommend a thicker blind for the bathroom as if the next property is booked then you may still see into the bath room. However there isn’t anything I didn’t like these bits are just me being picky

Spotlessly clean, comfy bed, beautiful kitchen and your own private hot tub

Everything was above and beyond our expectations, this was a surprise for my girlfriends birthday and she was blown away. We had such an amazing stay I would highly recommend the accommodation. Really cozy and stunning surroundings, a stones throw away from 2 pubs and access to great walking routes
