VILLA CARUSO PRIVATE HEATED POOL & SEA VIEW

It was beautiful and just fun to relax and enjoy with all the kids.

A little far to get into the main hub so we didn’t eat out as much as we otherwise would have.

We had a truly wonderful stay. The host was absolutely lovely, extremely helpful and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The house itself was stunning — beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, and the view was simply breathtaking. Everything we could possibly need was provided, making our stay extremely comfortable and enjoyable. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay — highly recommended!

The only downside was the road leading up to the house — it was quite challenging, very narrow with a steep incline and four sharp turns. Definitely something to keep in mind if you're coming by car.

Beautiful large home. Fantastic view from large veranda. Farm table on veranda for sunset Apertivo and vino. Farm table in kitchen, great for family dinners. Seats 10 people. Herb garden to be used by guests! Lemons lemons lemons growing everywhere. Mario was fantastic to work with. Fast to respond for all 100 of our questions. Gigino was very kind and helpful. Bus stop at end of driveway easy in to town. You can book a pizza chef to teach pizza making in the outside pizza oven at your villa. You can hire artaxy to drive you to Positano for the day. Mario can book a boat rental for you to take to Capri or Positano. Just so much to do ! Wonderful home we will be back!

Location could be an issue very steep going down and up. Going down about a 20-25minute walk to Sorrento Going back either a bus or a taxi The taxi can be expensive The bus you have to figure out the schedule and has multiple stops The Trattoria in the Town is excellent and inexpensive about 10minutes to walk going down okay up can be a little strenuous The short cut was muddy and moss covered so we not use it Groceries can be ordered for delivery but a bit pricey but definitely good quality.

The view is beautiful! The grounds and loacation are beautiful and quiet. The houses themselves very nice. Our family of 5 adults and one child had lots of room to spread out.

The "pool" is actually the size of a big hot tub. It is very out of the way and difficult to access town and restaurants. The road is so narrow we could not drive our car to the house.

The villa itself is in a beautiful location and it is a fabulous villa with lots of room. The garden and outside areas including the terrace and outdoor kitchen area are very good and the view from the terrace looking towards Sorrento and the bay is beautiful. The villa is very well resourced and it is like a home from home. The hosts were very helpful answering via text any small queries we had. It is worth exploring in detail the information about grocery deliveries, restaurants and bus timetables.

The location to the villa by car was difficult to access due to a steep winding road that narrows near to the villa. If arriving by other modes of transport the hosts do arrange to meet you in Sorrento but perhaps arriving by car it is better to also be met by the hosts. There is a local minibus that you can take a short walk down to but anyone with mobility issues might find the steep climb back difficult. For more able bodied people it takes about 20 minutes to walk into Sorrento.

A great location in the mountains above Sorento. A beautifully designed rooms (designer quality) with a great balcony and unbelievable view of the bay of Napolli. One of a kind. The rooms were with fully equipped kitchens and beautifully decorated. Easily access by car to Sorento (15 min). The facilty served us as a luxury base for trips to Amalfi coast and Capri. Our host Carmine De Martino was VERY helpfull, friendly and cooperative. The small winding upgoing road to the facility seemed initially a driving challenge, so he came to meet us with his small car and delivered us and our luggage to the facility. Yet after his guidance we then managed to use the road safely and frequently. A great and friendly host !! Two things make a villa great: Location and an exellent host. We recommend both with full heart.

It was just perfect ! we did not want to move on with our trip ! There was nothing we did not like. Yet we had rather small-medium size cars: FIAT 500X. With biger or longer car the small road up to the facility may present a challenge.
