Apartamento Dama de Noche ll - Puerto Banús

The price / sqm is fair (at least before June) for that area

AVOID at all cost - PLEASE READ!! Upon entering the apartment (which was situated towards a road and beyond that you could hear the traffic from the highway) there was an extremely strong chemical smell in the rooms that got my girlfriend an allergic reaction so she had to leave immediately. I went further in to the apartment and could also smell mold (which is apparently common in the Dama de Noche complex according to people who live there). After seeing the strong chemical spray can on a table in the apartment, contacting the property owner, they confirmed that they had been using that strong chemical ( an odor remover, to cover god knows what smell...) and that it was part of their cleaning routine (even worse) every time. We left the apartment immediately and returned the key to a strange small keybox put in wall further down the road from the apartment. Been over a week and the property owner has not responded to me or booking.com to return the money. Have saved the conversation done via whatsapp to confirm everything and pictures, including the chemical spray can that had been used as it was left out open in one of the rooms. UPDATE - they tried to charge an additional €500, over a week later, without any notice or customer interaction 20250526 via their deposit service called Swikly (please check this company), 8 days after NO USE OF APARTMENT has been made. Luckily Revolut blocked the transaction as it immediately flagged as a fraudulent transaction - beware of Swikly. NEW UPDATE afternoon 20250526 - the apartment rental service tried to call my girlfriend and sent a message complaining about leaving a review, writing that we should never vist them again. Well....if you do not like reviews, perhaps return the first transaction, and then do not try to charge MORE money via a shady service named Swikly, and reply to booking.com when asked to.

Great location, great value for money.

The screen around the balcony we would have preferred it to be open air. The bathroom was very dark especially in the en-suite.

Very spacious and well maintained and equipped apartment as if you’re living in someone house. Very good contact with host. Very good location close to Puerto Banus. Very price.

You need to pay deposit but that’s probably why the apartment is in such a good condition:)
