"Relaxing weekend"

It was in the most beautiful area , such a quiet and relaxing atmosphere just what you need to de-stress from a busy week.

There was no local shop on site , and the nearest one was a good drive away . So what would make the site better would be a little shop selling essential stuff.

Comfortable beds

We were inconvenienced by the one car parking facility, which was always stated but surely there is the option to provide room for two by gravelling off some of the grass area alongside the lodge. Inconsistent heating levels in some of the rooms. Only one key and barrier fob provided, which was inconvenient having two drivers in our family group.

Lodge was lovely, great comms from host

Having to leave car at reception, walk to the lodge to get the lodge key from the keysafe along with the fob to open the automatic gate. Would have been nice if staff from reception could have opened the gate for us. Not a reflection on the host though.

Location perfect and lodge great, host were amazing giving me so much information and were so helpful. Would definitely book again.

Small very minor detail we found quite a number of cobwebs around walls and curtains.

Well presented lodge. Easy access to Silverdale area. Lovely and warm. Good value

Bit more kitchen equipment would have been helpful (baking dish/ tea towel).
