Björsjöås Vildmark - room in the main house

As we stayed in a house, it was a bit like museum with a lot of interesting details.

Not enough bathrooms. Very busy in the rush morning time.

Location amidst nature, very ftiendly staff ( mrs. Lena). Young cats, sheep, cows. Nature walk, good shower (only one for the whole camp!!! and all its guests). We were lucky to have been the only guests in the house, 2 more rooms were not occupied, but many at the camp, sharing shower and 2 toilets). 1 guitar available to play on.

Beds/ matrasses too hard, 1 day internet faillure ( though not our priority during holiday). Only 1 shower for all guests, in the house as well as at the campsite (standing in line except when getting up very early and be lucky). Beautiful nature walks laid out, but a big chance to get lost, because of confusing and sometimes missing signs. We had a beautiful 6.7 km walk, but it took us 18 km and over 4 hours, trying to find our way home in the dark through the woods. We were lucky to have 2 handys and GPS!

Beautiful traditional property, clean, friendly, quiet and calm.

Nothing could be faulted

Felt very much like a home, and we had the space to cook in the kitchen and eat in the dining room. We were mostly out during the day visiting Liseberg and the Universsum, So we made our breakfast and cleaned up after us in the morning, and did the same in the evening with late dinner. The children loved the chicken, sheeps and the cats on the farm and had room to play outside.

Not sure how it can be fixed but the only thing i can say is the brushing of teeth for the family and toilet routines in the late evening inside the main house could end up in a line up sometimes. planning can help. But this wasnt a major issue.

Our family had a lovely two night stay in the main house. It was a beautiful drive to the property! Our kids LOVED relaxing, playing and exploring the outdoor space. We went for a wonderful hike that left directly from the property and picked wild blueberries along the route. There were other families with children staying in the cabins so our kids were able to play a pickup soccer game with them. The bedroom was small but suited us just fine as the beds were comfy and allowed us a great night of sleep. Yvonne and Peter were very friendly and accommodating and we enjoyed getting to know them a bit. We are on a long trip so this was a nice/relaxing stop for all!
