Good quiet location in a lovely marina town.

On our arrival, the pool was covered but there was a lot of debris covering the bottom, indicating that it had not been cleaned thoroughly. Nobody came to clean or service the pool and its surrounds during our 10-day stay. Although we used the net to clear surface debris, the pool still looked dirty. Lamps on the pool terrace were broken with wires exposed, not safe for children staying. The villa needs some care and attention.

La struttura è molto bella e molto grande, noi eravamo 2 persone, volevamo stare larghi… Porto Calero purtroppo è un bel po abbandonato… ci sono pochissime strutture aperte ed è un vero peccato. La villa si trova in un complesso residenziale insieme a decine e decine di ville tutte bellissime, di sera troppo buio e poca gente in giro, c’è un controllo continuo da parte della security .

Purtroppo la villa ha bisogno di parecchi lavori di manutenzione, noi siamo riusciti solo a farci sistemare il portone del garage che non si apriva. Il cancello era bloccato e sempre aperto e ci siamo trovati con animali randagi in zona piscina! Il manutentore della piscina ce lo siamo trovati proprio in piscina un pomeriggio che eravamo appena rientrati per riposare, non ha neanche suonato il campanello quindi addio privacy… la piscina stessa necessita di lavori di manutenzione così come l’area circostante. Le palme sono tutte da potare ma sono lasciate andare, la tettoia che circonda quasi tutta la villa perde acqua se piove. A noi per fortuna è capitato solo un giorno di pioggia, tra l’altro pericoloso perché nella tettoia passano fili della corrente.!! Per quanto riguarda le pulizie devo dire che non erano state fatte bene visto che l’accesso è alle 16.00 pensavamo di trovare tutto perfetto ma assolutamente no. In uno dei bagni c’erano scarafaggi e in un’altro formiche che poi abbiamo trovato anche nel letto mentre dormivamo.. Per concludere ci sono almeno 2 porte sul retro che non si chiudono, non c’è la chiave quindi chiunque potrebbe entrare facilmente in casa se si è fuori al mare per qualche ora e questo è molto in contraddizione con la serratura elettronica all’entrata! A cosa serve una serratura di quel tipo se poi si può entrare da dietro in tutta tranquillità tra l’altro col cancello sempre aperto come ho già scritto all’inizio? Quindi visto che il prezzo non è assolutamente basso spero che chi gestisce la struttura faccia quello che c’è da fare altrimenti non consiglio di prenotare.

All of it. Not our first stay and won’t be our last. The villa is everything we want in a relaxing break in Calero. Stayed in a few villas in the area but this has been the best. Pool attendant also visited to make sure it was to our liking.

Can’t really comment. Everything we needed was on site and local amenities provided the rest.

Nous avons apprécié la situation géographique du logement, proche du port avec ses restaurants (10 minutes à pieds) et très bien situé pour découvrir l'île en voiture. Nous avons également apprécié l'espace très généreux du logement ainsi que son équipement. La piscine était propre et bien entretenue.

La maison manque un peu d'entretien à l'extérieur et nous aurions préféré des matelas plus confortables.

Puerto Calero ist ursprünglich und der Hafen idyllisch. Lanzarote ist vielseitig und von Puerto Calero ist alles gut erreichbar. Puerto del Carmen und der Strand sind nur ca 5 Kilometer entfernt. Der neue Supermarkt in Puerto Calero hat alles für den täglichen Bedarf. 👍 Am Hafen gibt es sehr schöne Restaurants und dienstags und freitags ist Markt.

Der schmutzige Pool bei unserer Ankunft und dass die Poolreinigung immer wieder von uns angefragt werden musste hat uns nicht gefallen. Der Hund der Nachbarn (dauerhafte Residenten) mit seinem Dauergebell, auch spät am Abend und die Sporthalle eine Straße weiter, verursachten viel Lärm. Leider ist das ganze Haus ungepflegt. Zur Reinigung steht Urlaubern nur ein abgenutzter Besen zur Verfügung. Der Parkplatz am Haus nicht nutzbar, da die Palmenblätter nich gestutzt wurden. Die Garage gehört nicht zur Vermietung und ist vollgestellt. Achtung: Wer den Pool beheizt haben möchte, muss 15€ pro Tag zahlen. Die Ausstattung ist spartanisch und vieles ist defekt. Gefährlich sind die Temperaturen der Wasserhähne. Küche und Duschen viel zu heiß. (die Waschbecken hatten dafür nur Kaltwasser). Die Badewanne wurde „ausgebessert“ und der Lack blättert ab., nicht nutzbar. Auf der Terrassenüberdachung sind offenliegende Kabel, das Isolierband hängt herunter und es tropft aus der Decke (lebensgefährlich). Empfehlung: Die Ferienvermietung sollte sich vor Ort über den Zustand ein Bild machen.

The location was good, short walk to supermarket and a little further to restaurants

The property had an electronic keypad which was very temperamental. It sometimes worked immediately and other times took more than six attempts before the door would open!!

Spacious villa with fantastic garden with pool and cabana. The staff from Lanzarote Vacation Villas were incredibly helpful and responded immediately to any queries we had.

A few more glasses would be useful and would save putting on dishwasher as often.

Everything was amazing myself and my husband enjoyed every minute after we booked this while in lanzarote as the hotel we booked 1st was let's just say not worth a 1 star
