"Excellent! An absolute gem."

So peaceful, with easy beach access and all comforts considered. Not having to consider loadshedding was a bonus!

The cleaning staff were amazing, but we would have preferred that they were there for shorter periods. The 4 hours each morning was a bit disruptive.

"Wonderful stay at Umthi Lodge"

This is a wonderful accommodation in a security estate with its own private beach and various species of buck running around. The house is serviced daily and has all the amenities one could possibly need. My teenage son loved the high-speed wifi. We couldn't enjoy the pool due to it being treated on the second day of our stay and the bad weather on the subsequent days. Alan graciously supplied us with some welcome gifts of teas, coffee and rusks which we highly appreciated.

The floor of the main shower could do with some tiles or something as it gets quite slippery. Also water pressure in shower is quite low but that's possibly due to the house using tanked rain water, although it really wasn't much of an issue.
