House&Cave Parking and Terrace, in the city

The location is great - view if fantastic, quiet, but close to transport and reasonable walk to city and attractions.

The views from the property terraces are stunning - it is just a few feet down from a famous 'Mirador', where coach loads of people come all day long to see the view of Granada spreading out below. We got that view all day long, and in the evening the sun was on the terrace and we ate simple suppers up there a few times. The stairs up to it are too challenging for taking up a proper meal though. There was plenty of room for two couples and we slept well there. It is close to shops and restaurants which were a delight. Lovely decor.

The bolt on the door to the terrace was so stiff, my friend cut her hand a couple of times. Could do with some WD40. No doors on the two downstairs bedrooms (curtained off), meant it was a bit awkward when the other couple wanted to come downstairs to make tea in the morning.

Excellent location! The cave dwelling is very cool and the terrace views are spectacular! We loved everything about our stay.

Just amazing - incredible old town location in an authentic cave house, stunning view across the city to the hills and mountains, traditional Spanish decor, lots of space to relax, comfy beds, fantastic double terrace with covered chill-out level and separate dining area. The parking was nearby and was free, secure and easy to negotiate. Perfect for a family with older children and a sense of adventure.

It was perfect for us and we burnt off most of our holiday calories, but you do need to be fit to stay here - the access from every direction is long, steep lanes and you can’t get right to the house by car. The house itself also has lots of steps because it is built into the hillside. As is clear from the photos, none of the bedrooms is completely private but caves need ventilation so this is part of its character.

I would prefer a little bit privacy since the rooms had no door but a curten instead.

The property was fantastic! Even better than it appears in the photos. The cave like downstairs area is spacious and cool and the upstairs bedroom and mezzanine is so lovely and bright with an incredible view over the city. The property was very well equipped and very clean.

The AC didn’t work so well for the mezzanine bedroom area, it was very warm up there. Maybe a fab would help.
