Baboon's View Cabin - Salted Fynbos Staying

Cozy cabin that sits on top of the hill with an amazing view and you are isolated from everyone but close enough to town should you feel like exploring what the area has to offer

Cabin in the hills overlooking Pearly Beach. We love the idea of the cabin. We stayed during a storm and had no water for almost 24 hours. So we left one day early. The owners were generous and credited us the one night we didn’t stay. Thanks.

Do not go during a storm. The windows are not storm proofed and wind comes into the cabin as if the windows were open. The hot tub can also not be heated when it’s cold. We had three boxes of wood to heat it up but water was still cold. The bed should definitely be changed. Mattress is dirty and does not fit on what it’s lying on.

The location is great. Private. The view is amazing. The hot tub is a lot of fun. A different experience. Check-in and out were very easy.

The linen should be upgraded, and there was no pot for cooking on the two plate gas hob.

The view is exceptional; the peace and quiet as well. The cabin has everything you need for a good private and secluded stay. It’s perfect for dogs to roam free. It took some getting used-to managing electricity being off the grid because the weather showed up in a truly splendid way, but we got the hang of it.

The glass to one of the stacking doors was cracked and the rubber sealant looked faulty so we couldn’t open the stacking doors completely. Leave extra printed instructions on what to do when the inverter makes warning sounds because it s running low on power due to inclement weather (when we arrived the outside lights were all on but it was daylight)

The Location Was amazing!!! and the Facilities were out of this world! the tranquility was amazing. I will most definitely recommend to others!

The inverter didn't carry as much charge as i thought with only one light on, but understandable it was overcast at some point and raining. which is not the fault of the Property!
