Six Senses Con Dao - Turtle Island Paradise

We just loved our visit to Six Senses Con Dao resort! It was just paradise!! We had a beachfront villa, with the best views over a mile of pristine white beach out to sea. Awesome! The service from the staff was exceptional – friendly, helpful and all very good fun. A big thank you to Nhan, our personal butler for looking after us so well! The island resort was just full of surprises, including our being so lucky to have nests hatching and baby turtles being released to the sea on two evenings during our stay. We also thoroughly enjoyed hitting some ‘eco’ golf balls out to sea … to feed the fish! Such great fun, again with the very helpful staff. Also highly recommend local historical and prison tour as there is a lot of dark history but bright future to know about Con Dao island. Again, our guides were excellent.

Time to summarize the stay Con Dao Hotel Six senses 1.The place absolutely located outstanding , peace and quiet , oasis , views beautiful , landscape outstanding , airport pick-up very efficient and professional. 2.But it is only appearances behind the façade hides mediocrity , weakness , poor quality , old age , not caring , lack of attention to detail , such nothing beautifully packaged and sold for very big money 3.The hotel was supposed to be luxurious , but from the luxury remained only the name , nice staff and views from the villa windows 4. employees nice smiling , but mostly without professionalism . It is not enough to be nice , but you need to be professional , lack in service such as serving meals on a dirty table , not cleaning up after a meal and serving another on a table not prepared ( absolutely unacceptable in this class of resort) 5. continuous questions about whether it was good or tasted tiresome, interrupts the conversation and are unnecessary, even annoying. 6. breakfast room - entrance black piece of carpet - dirty , dusty , the floor gives the impression of not fully washed , unacceptable in this class of resort !!! 7. quality of bread - for dinner to breakfast mediocre , bread does not meet the criteria for freshness of quality is like rubber , baguette is not a baguette but an ordinary bun in the shape of a baguette !!!! 8. breakfast Vietnamese section tasty , soup very good , side dishes also , but the other ingredients in addition to fruit leave much to be desired , for example, pancake made very poorly , please remember that all the time we are in a luxury hotel Six senses , thus we are evaluating the value for money , and here he is violated to the detriment of guests and strongly. As a guest you feel strongly cheated.

9. food - Vietnamese restaurant at the lobby correct , good quality products mostly , except for baguette for now 10. beach restaurant - it's a mediocre place that has nothing to do with a real tasty restaurant , dishes uneven e.g. lamb chops not cut , meat hard not cut with a steak knife , open ravioli tasteless , pastry like rubber not eatable. Steak z was good interestingly enough , potato purée tasted different twice!!! 11. spa described as outstanding , the best in the world - it was unacceptable , the quality of the spa terrible , converted villa , entrance window unwashed , smeared glass!!! Employees as if ignorant of their work , unprepared for guests. The quality of the massage very bad in my case , I felt as if the masseur had no experience it was a waste of time , in contrast my wife's massage was very good and she came back satisfied. 12. overall quality of the resort - unkept , old , the rooms look clean, but the cleanliness is not outstanding , the quality of cleaning is average . 13.Floors in the resort as well as in the rooms are slightly unwashed looking in depth . 14.From the good points to certainly the lady who serves guests helpful , active , solves problems 15. the hotel is not luxurious average place where you do not want to stay too long and is not worth recommending , it is worth comparing for example the quality as a whole of hotels in Hanoi Capella and in Saigon Hyatt Park Hotel , for example these two hotels are 100 years ahead of six senses !!! there is no comparison similarly located and similar in price Bulgari hotel in Bali !!! quality cleanliness , quality of meals 16. as a customer using the service of numerous luxury hotels here feel cheated and stretched for a service not worth the price !!!

My stay at the Six Senses was truly remarkable for its all-around beauty and the highest quality of food I've ever experienced at a hotel. The staff were incredibly caring, well-organized, and friendly, making the hotel feel comfortably luxurious without being ostentatiously opulent, allowing for a wonderfully home-like atmosphere. The luxury truly lies in the quality of the food, the incredibly long sandy beach, and the warm welcome extended to guests. The fitness center is superbly equipped, the spa is exceptionally professional, and the childcare is the best I've ever encountered in a hotel, with the entire place being very child-friendly.

Honestly, there was nothing about my stay at the Six Senses that I did not enjoy. Everything exceeded my expectations, contributing to an unforgettable experience.

Everything was great. The location was so nice with mountains, forest and beach altogether. The service and staff were super. We were well taken care of. The design of the villa created the feeling of calm and peace.

A lot of mosquitoes. But I guess it’s unavoidable.
